Tom: A Hero Wins!

A great season has come to a close! This time around we have the person that showed up with his A –game and never lost focus of the overall goal, to become the sole survivor!
Tom excelled at the challenges, he beat contestants a fraction of his age, most notably Bobby Jon twice!
Tom kept the tribe well fed, fighting a shark, and winning! Bringing in a ton of fish. Speaking up and telling the others to use the fresh water won in a challenge, not for showers, but as drinking water. Tom was the voice of reason.
Sure we saw his claws come out when Katie was for the 4th or 5th time trying to screw him over, he had to lay it on the line for her. It did not make me like him any less.
Katie was worthless, while everyone worked hard around camp; she lay around, seemingly never loosing any weight, or even breaking a sweat. Katie flipped flopped and waffled her way nearly the whole time, yet she claimed she made an alliance and stuck with it. Yeah right, but barely! Clearly she should not have won, if she had any sense of dignity, she would toss a few bucks Ian’s way, it is obvious she should not have been sitting there next to Tom, it should have been Ian and Tom.
We all know why Tom took Katie, she was just a coattail rider and there was no way she would get the majority of the votes. Ian didn’t even cast a vote for his best girl Katie, Why? Because clearly she was undeserving.
Whereas Katie was lying around eating all of the food that others provided, for a while there I thought she had a secret stash of sandwiches, seeing as how she remained plump while on the island, for the whole 39 days. Tom was out fishing, building fires, making the camp a home.
Whereas Katie gave up before even trying at the challenges, Tom gave 110%; he played each challenge like the true warrior he is, he participated in the challenges as if there was a million dollar prize at the end of each challenge.
How befitting that the person that played the game the hardest, and the best won!
