How To Toast A Twin
Big Brother Analysis By Professor Dan

So, Nicodermus is the HOH. She wants to bust up the twin alliance. How to do this? As I see it, there are three alternatives:
1) Leave both Adria and Natalie off the block. Whoever wins the veto uses it to save someone, Nic puts up either Adria or Natalie, and that twin gets voted off. In case you haven't been watching lately, this is the "six-finger" strategy that Nic used to rid the house of Jase, taking advantage of this year's change in the POV comp. It COULD work again, but only if Drew is up against the twin. I think Drew is safe this week-- nobody wants him off, except MAYBE Cowboy, who couldn't mastermind tying his shoes, let alone getting rid of Drew. So if Nic takes this option, she'll put up Drew and Diane, or Drew and Karen, or Drew and Marvin (I hope not-- give poor Marv a week OFF, fer cryin' out loud!)
Whoever wins the POV uses it to save the non-Drew (this includes Drew, if HE wins it.) Whichever twin gets put up is out, because Diane, Karen, and Marvin will vote that way.
2) Put up either Adria or Natalie against Drew. If the twin gets vetoed off, put up the other. Again, the twin gets the axe. Sounds good, but there's a flaw: say Adria gets put up. She'll certainly pick Natalie for the POV comp. If Adria wins the POV, the twins are screwed, because Nic can just put up Natalie in her place if she uses it. BUT, if Natalie wins it, BOTH are safe, and Nic would lose her chance to be rid of a twin. A friend made the comment that well, there's only a one-in-six chance of this happening. But the POV comp is not a random event, like drawing a card or rolling dice. Depending on the nature of the POV comp, Natalie might have a great chance of winning it, or she might not. Why should Nic take that risk?
3) Put up both twins. In my view, this is the surest (and most satisfying) way to ensure that one of the twins goes. If the nominations stand, it's a done deal. The worst that can happen is that one twin comes off the block. Then Nic puts up Perfect Decoy Drew, and its buh-bye twin, as long as Diane, Karen, and Marvin play along with Nic (which I think they will.)
So, there it is. Take Option 1 or option 3, Nic, and a twin is toast!
