Amber Brkich and Rob Mariano, know by fans world wide as Romber were married Saturday on an Island in the Bahamas according to Amber's home town paper, The Beaver County Times.
Amber and Rob finished first and second in Survivor All-Stars and are currently in first place on The Amazing Race 7. The race of course is over and there are all kinds of rumors as to Romber's eventual finish in the race, ranging from won to finished in 5th place.
CBS was on hand to tape the ceremony for a special telecast on May 24. The network has scheduled the wedding festivities to compete against the finale of American Idol 4.
The details of the ceremony are a carefully guarded secret. CBS reportedly required all participants in the wedding party to sign a confidentiality agreement. As required by CBS, Rob, Amber, family and friends have said nothing.
Some details are known. It's difficult to keep secrets in a rural area like Amber's Beaver County Pennsylvania. A CBS camera crew was spotted by residents at the Seven Oaks Country Club on March 5. The Ohioville, Pa club was the location for Amber's bridal shower.
A crew was also spotted at the Skye's The Limit Bridal shop where Amber was reportedly shopping for gowns. Rumor has it the bridesmaids gowns are teal. Amber had previously told CBS that she wanted the male members of the wedding party to wear white linen.
According to The Beaver County Times the wedding party left Pennsylvania for The Bahamas last Wednesday.
Honeymoon plans have not been announced although, so far, they have won three trips for first place "leg" finishes on The Amazing Race. They could have gone to London, the French Riviera or stayed in the Bahamas courtesy of The Amazing Race.
They have a home near Pensacola, Florida where Rob's family owns real estate.
