America's Got Talent: Susan Boyle To Appear On America's Got Talent June 17, 2009
British singing sensation Susan Boyle, who shot to fame after competing on Britain’s Got Talent, has been invited to perform on the American version of the show.
Piers Morgan, who is a judge on both shows, says Boyle is invited to perform on America’s Got Talent by fellow judge and the shows’ producer Simon Cowell.
“It she’s up for it and she is well enough, our feeling is she probably will appear. Absolutely!” he said. “Susan singing live to 25 million Americans? That would be great!”
Boyle was briefly hospitalized for exhaustion following the finale of Britain’s Got Talent.
The 48-year-old, who came in second place, was recently released from the London clinic where she sought treatment. She pulled out of two England performances over the weekend after being advised to rest but returned to the Britain’s Got Talent tour Monday in her native Scotland.
