The happy houseguests applaud after Jase walked out the front door for the final time. Diane said she walked him to the door because she was raised to "kill them with kindness" and she wanted to make sure to lock the door behind him. Will expressed his relief in the diary room: "We've been living under this tyrannical egomaniac for so long and to finally have him, and his below the belt character attacks out of the house, words cannot describe the pure elation we're all feeling."
Marvin, who escaped eviction for the second week in a row, said: "This is a victory for me and if you twelve of those in a row you get to the part of the game that's your true goal - the final two."
Karen says the house has been "purged of the Jase". Adria said she hopes Jase isn't really crazy. Former alliance member Cowboy was very sad to see "another brother" go. "That's two in a row. It hurts," he said. Drew said he voted against Jase because it was in his best interest.
After Jase's departure, Cowboy and Drew had a heart-to-heart talk. Drew attempted to describe why he turned on Jase. Cowboy listened but feels that Drew should have told him he had turned on the Four Horsemen. In the diary room Cowboy says he is the only Horseman left. He vows to seek "sweet revenge" by getting Drew out of the house.
As the new Head of Household, Adria has a very difficult decision to make. Immediately after Adria won the HOH competition, Diane noticed that Karen, Will and Nakomis looked depressed. Will says he feels safe with Adria as HOH. Karen said: "There are more negatives, I think… than positives to having those two in the house." In the diary room, Adria said she would never put Natalie up and that she is comfortable with Diane and Drew, but the others "had better watch their step."
The HGs join Adria as she enters the HOH room to receive her bag of goodies. Adria was thrilled to receive a picture of her mom and her husband Lenny. Hip-hop-music-starved Will and Marvin were overjoyed that Adria's CD for the week is by hit singer Usher.
Cowboy joined Adria in the HOH to ask if she was going to nominate him this week. He reminds Adria that she once promised him that she would never nominate him. He told Adria that he would not put either of the twins up. He assured Adria that he would never break the two of them up. Cowboy insinuated to Adria that the biggest smack talker against the twins is Marvin.
Cowboy gives her his word. And believe me, when this guy promises loyalty he will deliver.
Diane met with Adria in the HOH. Diane and Adria discuss the fact that Will, Nakomis and Karen looked unhappy that she was the new HOH. Adria said she was aware of how they felt. They agreed that Cowboy is safe this week. Diane said Marvin is her personal target for next week. Diane suggested that Adria put Karen up. Adria is offended that the others constantly refer to her as 'them'.
Karen worked her magic on Adria by telling her not to 'sweat it'. Adria told Karen that she may put up one of their group, but that person should feel safe because the group would back them. Karen is offended that Adria appeared to be pumping her for information by asking Karen who she would protect in the house, but not sharing with Karen her own feelings. Karen doesn't trust Adria and said she and Natalie are on a power trip. Adria refuses to tell Karen who she's thinking of nominating.
Karen, Will and Nakomis discussed the situation in the cloud room. Karen told them not to say a single name to them - meaning Adria and Natalie - because she thinks they will tell the others that Karen said this, or Will said that… blah, blah, blah. They agree that they are not on the same team as Adria and Natalie. Adria and Natalie are "worse than Jase because there's two of them," Karen said.
Adria and Natalie discuss the annoying chewing habits of Karen, Will and Marvin. Wow, that's a great way to decide who to nominate! They discuss nominating Will instead of Karen. "She'd freakin' lose it and be a basket case for a damn week," Adria said. Adria feels no need to put Marvin and Cowboy both up, and she refuses to put up Nakomis. Adria said she planned to shock either Will or Karen by nominating one of them.
