Prior Events
Before I begin tonight's tale of eviction, I would like to review a few of the latest events in the House of Fun.
Eric was already a short, burly bag of trouble before he won the HoH. Apparently, he thought that he had been appointed Emperor of the Universe because it all went straight to his big bald head. He could now act out his aggressions while hiding his insecurities.
Michael, who has had a growing problem with his lack of maturity and inappropriate touching of females, is ready to explode. In the beginning I believed that he was being unjustly accused, but now I'm convinced that he brought everything upon himself.
Add alcohol to this mix and the two men are on a collision course. Things began to get nasty when the insults flew between Eric and Michael and it looked as if a fight was about to ensue.
Just in the nick of time one of the producers had to tell the kids to get out of the sandbox and go to their room for a "time out" because they weren't playing nice.
On the surface, it appeared as if matters had been peacefully resolved. In fact, Eric even apologized to Michael. It was as believable as Kermit and Miss Piggy's love affair.
Instead of trying to lay low until eviction, or possibly even acting like a nice guy, Mike went around taunting, maligning and irritating everyone. His ally Kaysar tried his best to be the peacemaker, but in my opinion it's just too late. In fact, his days are numbered unless he votes to evict Michael tonight.
Janelle, who had been hanging out with Kaysar and Michael is also up for eviction but she just might be safe for another week because Capo "Cappy" and his Mafia are determined to get rid of Michael first.
The funny thing is that everyone seems to be sucking up to Eric. How did that loudmouthed control freak get so popular? It's a scary thing.
Does April ever shut up? She just loves to hear herself talk, talk, talk, and talk some more. Ms. Newlywed's husband must be enjoying some peace and quiet while she's yakkety yakking in the BB House.
Ivette got her temper up and vowed to "get" Michael because she's Latin and she's loud. She also accused Kaysar of disrespecting women which was uncalled for because I really hadn't seen him do that. But I guess if you're an Iraqi Muslim then it's easy for
People to generalize. Ivette is turning out to be a major troublemaker and seems to enjoy being a tattle tale and carrying all the news to ol' Cappy whether it's simply about a burp or some other crime that was committed by Mike who is digging himself into a deep pit.
There are several people playing a smart game so far because they're floating around mostly listening and not doing too much talking. Howie, oddly enough, has quieted down, or the others just got louder. I'm not sure. James and Sarah, and even Beau as well as a few others seem to be doing a good job.
Tonight's the Night
This has been quite a week. Tempers flared and the house divided itself into two factions. Julie makes her entrance in some yellow satin number and tells us that only six pairs remain and once again we get to hear that the largest prize in Big Brother history will be awarded to the ultimate winners. Yeah, thanks. Even if you have short term memory loss a few less reminders would not hurt.
Various houseguests express their opinions. Michael and Eric's alpha male fight is re-hashed once again as Mike tells Julie that initially the alliance between him, Kaysar, James and Eric seemed to be strong. However, he knew that was over even before Cappy put him on the bloc.
While Rachel thinks that Michael got a raw deal, Eric says that being HoH is harder than anyone could imagine. He really stuck his neck out. In what way, I'd like to know? He has amassed his adoring minions and bullied them into agreeing with him. That's how I saw it.
Maggie wants Michael gone because he "messed" with her friend. Kaysar, loyal to the core, says that Michael is truly a great guy.
Janelle and Howie are lying on the Queen Size bed.....
