In last week's fight Peter beat Miguel. Peter starts off by saying that he fell to his knees after that fight and that it was his best fight ever. Sly and Peter are talking and Sly tells Peter that "He's the real thing." Peter says to Sly, "You inspire me." Then Sly congratulates Peter for putting the East on the map.
Meanwhile the West is talking about the next fight and who will be up next and they conclude that Anthony will be fighting Jimmy.
Alfonso says that he likes Peter and that Peter said to him, "You gotta give me a rematch." Alfonso laughs. Peter walks in the door of the living area.
Ishe says that "it's not how someone loses but how he rebounds." He goes on to say that he "wouldn't put the stamp of greatness on Peter yet, but he's almost there."
The two teams are talking about boxing and life and Brent shares that 50 days ago he was in jail for a DUI and that he was into alcohol and partying. He said he had no job and he was on the brink of getting a divorce from his wife. Then he talks about how he found the word of God and that his marriage has never been better. He says that he finds his strength in the Lord. He says that he lives his life by the Bible.
Peter is back at his house. He hugs his wife and asks if she wants to order Pizza to celebrate. He says he has a great wife, "I don't know what she sees in me." Then he says every one has a soul mate and that he met his. Peter's wife comments that they are both young and are just trying to grow up together. Peter then mentions that they need to start going on some dates.
Back at the training facility Sugar Ray is sparring with Brent. Sugar Ray tells us that he hasn't had gloves on since 1997 and that it takes a while to adjust to getting hit in the face. Sugar Ray comments that Brent has good hand speed and may turn out to be a tiger in the ring.
Meanwhile Peter is commenting that the fights are already picked out. He says that Anthony will fight Jimmy, Juan will fight Tarick and Brent will fight Joey.
Anthony is punching the heavy bag saying that he's taking Jimmy on because he doesn't have a choice, it's already been decided.
Jimmy is working out with Gallagher with the punch mitts. Anthony then says that "Jimmy's a tall guy and that taller guys can give me some problems." He then says that he's not going to pick Jimmy and that he's going to go against the team. He says "to hell with the team."
Sugar Ray presents Peter with the golden glove necklace. He tells him to be very proud of this. Peter says it's an honor to have his picture up there on the wall with the other winners. He says hopefully it will motivate his teammates.
The East wins their very first reward. Ishe comments that this definitely spells danger because they're not gonna want to lose anymore after they see how great the rewards are.
The East gets to watch the Jay Leno show live as part of the studio audience. Meanwhile back at the living facility Jesse talks about how he is so bored and that he's getting cabin fever. Joey comments that it sucks losing. Jesse says he'd rather be watering the yard or out doing something. Anthony talks about how Jimmy's head is going to be on a platter.
Then Anthony comments that he's going to go against his team and pick Brent to fight. He says that he's going to pick what's best for him and his kids. He says, "I'm not here to gain respect, I'm here to win one million dollars."
Meanwhile back on the set of Leno, Jimmy talks about how he's watched Jay Leno most of his life and that it was great meeting him. After the show they all get to shake hands with Jay Leno. Then Jimmy says that hopefully one day he will get to be a guest on the show…
Anthony calls his kids at 5:45 in the morning. They are getting ready for school. Anthony says that he normally gets the kids ready and takes them to the bus. He says that this is the first time in 11 years that he's unable to send his kids off to school. He then shares that his parents got divorced when he was four years old and that he vowed at that time to be the greatest dad he could be for his kids. He then comments that anyone can be a father (biologically) but not everyone can be a dad. He says that his kids are his motivation for everything. Then he gets choked up and says that "when your kids thank you for calling and tell you that they miss you" that it is the greatest thing.
