Sergio says after his win that the sky is the limit. He says he's ready for this and he wants it bad. He says he wants to be rich and to have all the good things. He then says if he's not destined to win this, then he doesn't know who is.
The guys at the house are toasting Sergio's victory, or more so getting Ishe out of the house. They all sigh with relief that Ishe is gone.
Ahmed and Sergio are in their room and Ahmed hands Sergio a letter saying he "just got it" -a letter from his girlfriend. Then Sergio asks him what he thought when he read the letter. Ahmed says that he couldn't read it and didn't understand "nothing."
Sergio says that Ahmed has only been in this country for one year which is why he can't read English but that he is actually a smart guy and knows five other languages. Ahmed wants Sergio to read the letter. He says he trusts Sergio. Sergio reads it. It says "To my future husband…" then goes on to say how much she loves him and that she wants him to never give up on his dream. She enclosed a picture of the two of them. Sergio says that he's got a great girl, that she has a lot of love for him.
The guys are working out and Jesse comments that since the second round has started that the guys are getting more serious about boxing. Alfonso says that even though he hasn't fought since the first week that he's ready. He says that he's ready to fight anybody and that he's at his peak. Peter comments that Alfonso is "one of the best boxer's here." Ahmed is lying on the floor saying, "Alfonso's nothing. His punches aren't even hard." Then he continues to say that Alfonso doesn't even look in shape. Then he points to his "six pack" abs and says he's ripped. (And modest…)
Alfonso is sparring and his spar partner leaves the ring saying, "No mas." Alfonso says he tries not to knock out his spar partners but…
Sly congrats Sergio on his victory and gives him a new necklace. He says that Sergio gets to pick someone to go with him on his reward. Sergio picks Alfonso. Sly says that he can't wait to see the two of them on their surprise, it will make his year. He then drives them to the ….Golf Course.
Sergio says, "We're two Mexicans, we're used to cutting the grass on the golf course, not playing." Sly shows them their golf outfits. Alfonso says that the outfits aren't really his style. They both wear polo shirts and shorts and golf shoes. Sly teaches them to golf by saying "open the door and close the door" with their swing. Sergio swings at a ball and misses and says he missed the door.
Back at the house Ahmed is talking to Joey saying that he's hurt that Sergio didn't pick him. Joey says that Ahmed is like a pit bull and that he's gotta keep his tabs on Ahmed. Joey says that his role is to see that the proper matches are made and that he's looking out for Jesse, Peter and himself. He says that Ahmed will cause a problem for the guys and that the only one that could beat him would be Alfonso so that is who he will pick if he wins the challenge.
Ahmed says that he trusts Joey and that Joey wants to see him win. (Is he that oblivious?)
Alfonso is improving his golf game and gets in a great drive. He says the best part about it was playing golf with Sly and Sugar Ray like they had known each other forever. Alfonso admits that he'll probably never be a golfer or dress like a golfer.
The next challenge takes place at Santa Anita Racetrack. Sugar Ray says that is where Seabiscuit ran the last race. He tells the fighters that they will be pulling harness racing carts around the one mile track. He then says they will be pulling special jockeys. Family and friends of the fighters walk onto the track dressed up like jockeys. Sugar Ray says that the carts are all equally weighted and that the winning jockey (family member or friend) will win a Toyota four-runner.
Anthony says that it's his daughters' birthday and he'd like to win it for her. During the race Jesse is in first place followed by Peter. . The three that finish the first ˝ mile of the race are: Jesse (first), Peter (second) and Joey (third). They move on to the last ˝ mile.
Anthony pulled a hamstring early on but kept going because he didn't want his kids to see him quit. He came in last place. During the last ˝ mile, Jesse was too tired and quit and had his mom pull him for a while. It was down to Peter and Joey. Joey arrived at the finish line first but did not rip through the finish line. Gallagher says that he needs to cross the line! Then Peter crosses the line. Sugar Ray shrugs his shoulders in confusion. (Me too, I knew Joey couldn't be "stupid" enough to not actually cross the line, he is a lawyer after all.)
Joey said that he wanted Peter to have the car. Sugar Ray asks Peter "how he feels about that?" Peter said that it's hard for him to accept the car knowing he didn't win and that Joey doing what he did was one step above everyone else. Peter says that he's never won anything and that this is the best thing that's happened to him.
Anthony is getting checked out by the doctor. His hamstring is real bad. He says that the only way he'll be taken out of the competition is in a body bag. He says he's not going to quit. Then he asks the doctor if he can fight tomorrow? The doctor says not likely. Anthony says he may have to fight tomorrow. The doctor tells him to ice his leg and they'll go from there. Anthony eagerly obeys.
