The review which brings us up to tonight's finale.
There are five Castaways left standing/sitting/lounging/playing on the island.
FINAL FIVE:

HUT AREA:
Strategies are forming.
Bonding continues. Bonding that is male style. Gilligan and Professor are obviously in a male bonding mode. Gilligan is shaving his chest hairs.
He figures it will give him more glide in the water, an advantage with water competitions. Thing is he has no mirror to see if he has all the hairs shaven. Soooo, he asks Professor to shave his chest. Professor figures the male bonding doesn't need to go that far. But, he will guide Gilligan's hand across the chest in the areas he missed. Okeydokey. That's enough of the pair for me. But, alas, since we don't know who makes it to the final three, it may be a lot more of these two. Will see.
Skipper is looking on in amusement.
Movie Star and MaryAnn are in their hut, also strategizing. Movie Star assures MaryAnn that they are in an alliance. MaryAnn is comfortable with her position in the food chain of who will be voted off in what order.
Gilligan and Professor try to feel Movie Star out on her positioning. The boys want Skipper out because the Skipper is a major competitor. They also want MaryAnn out because of her betrayal with voting out Mr. Millionaire Bounce. Movie Star will not give the boys what they want: her assurance. In fact, Movie Star lets it be known she has no alliance. The boys are disappointed, but, continue to have their male bonding fun.
Skipper and Movie Star talk. Movie Star assures Skipper she is with him in an alliance and wants him to win. She figures he deserves it the most out of all the Castaways.
Note: In my first recap, I figured these two would be a strong alliance from the beginning.
REWARD CHALLENGE: Final Reward for the Season
Gathered on the shoreline are the Castaways and Host Scott.
There are covered dishes and beside the dishes are treasure chests
There is a scale at another area.
A lined area.
There will be 2 Rewards.
One will be what's inside of each dish. The dishes contents are revealed. In each one is that Castaway's favorite foods.
The treasure chests beside on the ground are empty.
Inside the lined area are scattered gold nuggets.
At the scale end of the area, is a box sitting on one side of the scale filled with guess what.... Videos from Home. Yep, that's right.
The other side of the scale is empty.
Object of the Challenge
The Castaways have a choice. They can concentrate on filling the empty side of the scale with nuggets to outweigh the side with the chest filled with videos or they can fill the treasure chests by their food dishes.
The one with the most weight of gold nuggets in their own personal chest will get their dish of favorite food.
If the scale side filled with nuggets outweighs the other side with videos, everyone gets a video from home.
Skipper figures since he has no family left, he'll concentrate on his treasure chest to get the food.
MaryAnn wants the food.
The others concentrate on the scale to get the videos.
Result:
The nuggets outweigh the other side of the scale so everyone gets a video from home.
Skipper beats out MaryAnn for the food. Skipper's favorite food dish is nachos. Looks yummy too.
The above may seem harsh or uncaring of the Skipper, but, the Skipper has been the most even tempered, easiest to actually get along with everyone, has made no promises in alliances, etc. This fact is also recognized by Movie Star. No one actually faults Skipper for going for the food. But, they're not too happy with MaryAnn and are pulling for the Skipper to win the food.
