Ever wondered what it takes to live like a Hilton? On Tuesday night, NBC premiered its newest reality series "I Want to Be a Hilton" that promises to teach a very lucky group of people, just that. This show will give a once in a lifetime opportunity to one lucky person by supplying them with everything needed to live like a socialite.

Hosted by Kathy Hilton, hotel heiress and mother of debutants Paris and Nikki, this show has taken fourteen contestants from all over the country and put them to the ultimate test, surviving New York's high society life. The competitors will first be separated into two teams; Team Madison and Team Park (appropriately taken from two of New York's most well known streets) and go through a number of challenges throughout the season that will test their expertise in the areas of culture, style, and dealing with the press. Each week, there will be different team missions. The wannabes will be asked to do everything from eating escargot to modeling in a fashion show.
The winning team of each challenge will be given an extravagant reward, while the losing team will have a meeting with Ms. Hilton where they will discuss the team's weak areas. Finally, Ms. Hilton will personally eliminate the weakest link of the losing team at the end of each episode.

The last man or woman standing will trade in their blue collar lifestyle for a fully furnished Manhattan apartment, a complete makeover, a collection of lavish prizes and the biggest gift of all…a $200,000 dollar trust fund and the opportunity to live life like a Hilton.

Let's meet the fabulous fourteen.
Team Madison consisted of Yvette, a spicy Irish Las Vegas Dancer, Jabe, a laid back ranch hand, Alain, a perfume salesman with a bubbly personality, Ann, a former Miss Tampa who loves to sing, Johnny, the average "boy next door" and plumber, Jakaay, a perky landscape supply clerk and Latricia a bold single mother and motor vehicles clerk.

Team Park included Vanessa, a beautiful bartender, Brenden, a mischievous looking golf caddy, Jules, a sweet receptionist, Rashad, a waiter with an edge, Jaret, a telephone salesman with a southern charm, Nikki, a chic fashion student and J.W, an athletic construction worker.

The teams definitely have diverse groups, so it will be interesting to see how everyone works together throughout the course of the show.

Upon arriving in the Big Apple, the teams met at Grand Central Station where all the basic introductions were made. Everyone was then whisked away for a private cocktail party, where Kathy secretly observed the group before making her grand entrance. The party had exquisite food and cocktails that definitely impressed all the participants. Judging by some of their eating habits, it was evident this group had a long way to go. Ms. Hilton finally made her entrance, and each player was presented with a silver spoon. Each spoon had either a blue or green ribbon which determined what team you belonged to. Green represented the Park Team while Blue represented the Madison team.

The teams were then given their first mission.....
