Missed this week's episode of I Want to Be a Hilton? Well have no fear because the latest recap is here to keep you updated. This week's episode started off with another morning in the penthouse suites. Team Park awoke ready and focused. With two wins under their belt, it seems like there's nothing that can stop this team.
And once again, Team Madison awoke with one less player and a little less confidence. Jakaay even said that she was feeling the tension within Team Madison. While in the Park suite, Jules couldn't help but talk about the confidence she had in her own team. Like usual, the teams were given notes instructing them on the events of the day. They were told to meet at the Brooklyn Museum of Art for their first challenge.
As everyone walked through the doors of the museum, they were not surprised to see beautiful paintings and sculptures, but were surprised to see a ballerina, an opera singer, a cello player and a Shakespearian actor. It was now revealed that the challenge of the day would test the participants' skills in the area of fine arts (music, plays, dance etc.). A brief overview of each section was given and then the teams were sent off on a bus tour to learn more about culture around New York City.
Although the wannabes were advised to pay close attention throughout the tour because it would help them on their mission, Anne insisted on giving her team members the esteemed opportunity to witness her "amazing" singing voice…again. The tour ended in Central Park at the famous monument of Cleopatra's Needle. Here they were reunited with Ms. Kathy Hilton to waste no further time and get on to the day's mission.
Team Madison and Team Park were given the news, they were to go on an Art Scavenger Hunt around the city and use the information they should have learned on the tour to help them solve each riddle. I wonder if Team Madison heard anything on the tour over Anne's singing. The teams were each given a stack of 10 riddles, 2 cell phones and a map. They had three hours to solve as many riddles as they could and find specific locations to then complete a culture related task at each destination. The team with the most riddles solved and tasks completed by the cutoff time would win the challenge. And they were off…each team had until 4pm to get as much done as possible and get back to Cleopatra's Needle.
It wasn't long before disagreements among the teams began. Jennifer from Team Park decided it would be best to look for the furthest destination first and continue to work their way back to Central Park. Rashad (Team Park) thought the team should split up and Brenden (Team Park) argued to stay together. While the team bickered, Rashad and Jared took off on their own. Team Madison quickly split into teams, Latrica and Jabe and Anne, Yvette and Jakaay. Anne quickly designated herself as navigator, as she kept a grip on the map, refusing for anyone else to take hold of it. They were quickly lost and with Anne and Yvette's "cheerleader on speed" type attitude, Jakaay didn't get a single chance to give her input. Meanwhile, Rashad and Jared quickly solved clue number one. They located a local piano store and were given the challenge to learn to play "Chopsticks". They were then off to solve the next clue. And sure enough, they quickly worked together to find a specific bookstore and recite a poem from the infamous author, Edgar Allen Poe.
Jabe and Latrica started off.....
