The eight remaining women on TBS's wild new reality series Outback Jack are out to get their hooks into the leading man, but first they have to catch some fish without a hook in Episode 2, premiering Tuesday, June 29, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).
Outback Jack, from Bruce Nash's Nash Entertainment (Meet My Folks, For Love or Money, Who Wants To Marry My Dad?), puts a group of pampered city women to the test as they vie for the affections of their rugged leading man. The series, hosted by JD Roberto (Shop Til You Drop, Shark Chasers), combines fish-out-of-water comedy with romance and adventure, making for plenty of unexpected twists and turns.
In Episode 2, Jack (athlete-outdoorsman Vadim Dale) and his eight remaining female contestants head out on a canoe adventure, during which Jack has to rescue some of the women after their capsized canoe leaves them soaking wet.
Later, the claws come out as the women face off in their first challenge by fishing with nothing but their own hands. The winner of the fish-catching challenge gets to decide who, including herself, will go on the first romantic tree house date with Jack. Meanwhile, the rest of the group will have to hang out at their new campsite to clean and cook the fish they just caught for dinner. At the end of the episode, Jack eliminates two more girls, leaving six to move on to the next adventure.
