Outback Jack: Episode 3
A dirty little secret!
Recap By Marlena Montpetit
July 7, 2004
This episode starts with all the girls piling into the jeeps and heading towards their next camp. They are having a great time and this has to be the 1st time since the show started that they aren't worrying about what their hair or makeup looks like. Marissa is a crazy driver and she keeps her and Natalie's Jeep right behind Jack so that she can show him that she can keep up and that she has what it takes!
Partway through their Journey, Jack comes across an injured python, he picks it up and gives the girls an opportunity to pet, scratch, touch and feel is big, long........snake!
Damn eh, girls? HEHE I couldn't resist!
When they stop to drop off the python at the Outback Animal Recovery Center, Host JD shows up to speak to the ladies alone. He tells them at the next elimination, Jack will not be doing the eliminating, they will be!
Marissa feels very vulnerable, in her words "She's Screwed!!" JD tells the ladies that Jack cannot know about this at all; this will be their little secret! All the rest of the women welcome this opportunity to get rid of Marissa, which means they obviously feel very threatened by her!
When the girls get to camp, Jack notices they are a little grumpy and they are complaining now about being dirty. Later that evening while Jack is checking to make sure camp is safe for the girls, all the girls huddle around the fire to talk about how they're gonna pick someone to go. Adrienne quickly takes over the conversation by saying she will be upfront with her decision, because she doesn't like lying or phoniness. Marissa picks up on the fact Adrienne is talking about her and calls her out on it, Adrienne denies talking directly about Marissa. Well for someone who says she doesn't like lying, she just did, because no offence honey, but it was obvious who it was intended for! Marissa thinks Adrienne will vote her off because she is insecure and because Marissa is her biggest competition.
The girls end up calling it a night as it was getting too tense, Natalie admits that she covers herself with Off to keep the bugs away each night! She is sooo lucky that she hasn't died of fumes yet!
The next day, Jack takes the girls to the a spring and treats them to a spa Outback style! They have the spring water, natural muds that are great for your skin, Aloe Vera plants and Skintimate Shaving Products, hey even Outback Jack doesn't like hairy mountain women! Mary stood out in her red, white and blue bikini and she told him she has to represent! She is one of a kind!
Jack spends some 1 on 1 time with each of the girls.
Natalie is 1st and he tells her that even though she always looks pretty, he feels her personality is more beautiful!
He tells Adrienne that she is a 4 star sheila, (I guess that means Great). He likes how spiritual she is and tells her he wants one woman to care, please and love outta this!
3rd is Mary and he tells her he loves how she glows not matter what she's doing! She asks him if they were to end up together; who would move? He just answers that would be decided later!
Next is Cortney, who tells Jack she is really there for him, he says his impression of her is correct then!
Maria asks him what his intentions are; he says he is there to find love! Maria then plants a very intimate kiss on Jack, she tells us she is tired of talking and wants actions to speak louder.
Last to go is Marissa, who lets him know she doesn't want to share him, Jack has a special bond with her and he scoops her into his arms and they share an amazing kiss! You almost feel bad for him there because you know that she is probably going home!
After the spa treat, Mary tries to do her own nails and she can't fathom the idea of someone doing their own nails at home. Geez, wanna come to my house? hehe
The girls are upset because they feel like Marissa is playing up to Jack, but Marissa just feels like Jack will be upset knowing she may have to go.
Jack thinks it will be great to introduce the girls to some of his special friends, when they get there they are surrounded by somewhat scary looking Tribal People. Natalie says she thought Aboriginal people only existed in National Geographic! The girls thought the tribal dance was a little weird except for Mary who insisted that she can relate because she is a singer. The girls are then blessed and cleansed thru a welcoming ritual.
