Outback Jack: Episode 6
Stick My Finger Where?
Recap By Marlena Montpetit
July 28, 2004
When the show starts we see Jack embracing Marissa with open arms. The other girls are stunned that she is back and Meri-de is clueless about what is going on. JD then explains to the girls that eliminations aren't up to them, the only person who can eliminate is Jack.
If the women thought Marissa was playing the game before, watch out! Because she is truly back for Jack and doesn't care about the other chicks! She definitely isn't there to make friends with people who voted her off! And the other girls wonder why she is separating herself. Hmmm,I wonder.
Marissa has a few more private hugs with Jack and joins the rest of the ladies around the table and asks if they missed her, she doesn't bother waiting for an answer; she just smirks and turns her back to them!
I bet you she is extremely happy that Adrienne is gone now, since she had the most trouble with her.
On the way to camp, Jack takes the girls to see one of his friends who is an animal breeder, when the girls find out it is crocs that he breeds that makes them all very nervous because they have to climb in a pen and pick the crocodiles up because Jack's friend has to determine the sex of the crocs for breeding reasons. First up is Meri-de and Maria. Meri-de makes it look effortless; I was very impressed with how easily she did it, even though she admitted to cameramen that she was scared!
Marissa and Natalie go and Natalie's croc was the only one to have a mini seizure in her hands - he squirmed so much, she was screaming! It was hilarious.
The girls then had to find the sex out themselves by sticking their pinky finger inside a hole in the croc. Part name unknown! I don't think I would even feel better if I did know the part name!! With there finger in the hole they had to look for a "willy" to see if it was male! Natalie went last and because her nails are long, the guys made her cut her pinky nail as she could hurt the crocodile. She can't cut her French tip off so Jack does it for her! She is really upset now! It's crooked and snags on everything.
That night at supper, Jack confesses to the cameramen that he really likes Marissa but she is testing his patience at the supper; she is bugging all the women, she threw food at him and then put her feet up on the table as the others were eating.
The next morning, Jack is gone and the women pretty much have a mini race with clues to figure out where Jack is. JD helps the women pick teams and the teams are: Meri-de and Marissa, Maria and Natalie. Both teams do extremely well in this competition until Maria and Natalie throw the lizard away that has a clue written on his belly, that mess up gave Marissa and Meri-de enough time to find the bar that Jack was in! The two of them get to accompany Jack on a romantic date, while the other two ladies get to stay at the bar, to drink, be merry and make friends with the locals. The locals look like they are gonna die when Natalie actually asks if this pub has Pina Coladas! She kills me sometimes!
The romantic date starts with a breathtaking helicopter ride all over the outback. Both the girls are in awe with how beautiful the outback really is. Once they land, JD greets them and says that there will be dinner in the middle of the outback, but Jack can only pick one woman to join him. He picks Marissa, which Meri-de understood, but she is still upset as she wanted him to pick her.
The dinner between Marissa and Jack seemed very natural, they spoke about what each other wanted and Jack made sure Marissa knew that he wanted nothing but honesty from her.
Once they arrived back at camp, they realized they were still alone as the girls were still at the pub. They took full advantage of the time alone by cuddling and kissing in the sand until their company came back. When the girls returned they think Jack had a bad time on his date with Marissa because he is very quiet.....truth is; he just doesn't kiss and tell! hehehe
Next morning JD tells them all that Jack has to eliminate one of the ladies today as they are moving to a new camp. They all pack up and find JD standing with enough horses for three ladies.
Jack asks Maria to stay first as he feels a connection with her.
Next he asks Marissa to stay because he doesn't wanna lose her again.
So the choice is down to Natalie and Meri-de, and neither of them wanna go home, they both want Jack.
Jack calls Meri-de next and tells her that he does have feelings for her and she will make someone very happy someday, but he needs to send her home as the connection just isn't strong enough.
Natalie is so happy that she is still there, she feels like she is on the last leg of the Kentucky Derby now, close to the finish line! I'm not sure if she is happy because she is close to Jack picking her in the end or if she is happy because once this is finished she can get her French tip glued back on! hehe couldn't resist!
