Last week I wrote that I had received some information concerning Victoria and Jonathan so I was going to hold off on my article for a bit. I wanted to see if this information panned out. I get quite a few emails with information on Amazing Race and Survivor. Most of the information is fake so I try to be careful before I post something. I decided to see if the info about tonight's episode was right and if it was I would post the other info they sent me. Needless to say, they were right on the money.
Last week Adam and Rebecca got the Fast Forward and leapt into first place. They arrived at the Pit Stop at 12:12 pm so they will depart tonight at 12:12 am. This time they actually have a bit of a lead over the others unlike when the wrestlers used the other Fast Forward. The question that remains is, can these two hold it together long enough to make it thru to the next leg?
Teams must now travel by Ferry to the city of Nice, France. That is pronounced N-ee-ce unless you are Bolo and then you can just call it Nice. Once in Nice, teams must find the City Garden. There they will need to locate the bust of World War I hero Albert the 1st. The clue box will be beside the bust.
Adam and Rebecca realize that there is no ferry's leaving at that time of night so they decide to search for a schedule. They want to make sure they are there in time for the very first ferry. They find a schedule and discover the first ferry will depart at 11:30 am. They go to find somewhere to relax for the evening and wait on the ferry.
The other teams depart at the following times:
Freddy and Kendra: 2:03 am
The Wrestlers: 2:13 am
Kris and Jon: 2:14 am
Victoria and Jonathan: 2:18 am and
Hayden and Aaron: 2:51 am
I would like to take just a moment to point out a little problem I am having. Last week if you will remember I took the time to applaud the producers for not trying to fool us by making it look like Hayden and Aaron were close when they weren't. I hate when they do that just for some sort of dramatic effect. We are not stupid, and we don't appreciate being treated as if we were.
Last week, as Jonathan and Victoria ran towards Phil, Jonathan screams out that Hayden and Aaron are right behind them. Sure enough the editing made it look like as if they were. The clock however never lies. Hayden and Aaron were 33 minutes behind Jonathan and Victoria. Shame on the producers, unless Victoria and Jonathan walked up the hill at a snail's pace there is no way they could have seen them. Do they think we don't check up on these things?
Anyway, Hayden and Aaron have no money for this leg so they are forced to beg for money. They are very embarrassed at having to beg for money. I am sure it is something they have never had to do. At least they are in an area that has wealth. They are able to get just enough money to purchase their tickets for the ferry.
All the teams make the first ferry and head towards Nice. Hayden and Aaron take this as an opportunity to try to get more money. They beg the ferry passengers and end up getting about fifty dollars. Not too shabby, but I am sure that looking good helped. All the teams arrive in Nice and the race for taxi's begins.
Victoria and Jonathan are the first off the ferry. They grab a taxi and head off. All the teams except Kris and Jon get taxis. They are left standing at the dock franticly searching for a taxi. As the other teams all make their way towards the garden, Kris and Jon finally manage to flag down a taxi. All the teams are now on their way to the garden.
Victoria and Jonathan are the first to arrive at the bust and get the first clue. Teams must now fly 4500 miles to the city of Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. Once in the airport they must find the marked airline counter and sign up for one of two charter flights. The flights will take them to the small village of Lalibella. There they will find their next clue on the windshield of the marked vans.
Jonathan decides they need to find a travel agent so he and Victoria go in search of one. As they are leaving, the wrestlers come upon the bust. They decide to just head to the airport. Adam and Rebecca are next and also decide the airport is their best option.
Hayden and Aaron and Freddy and Kendra arrive next. It looks like the model alliance might be back on. Both teams head for the airport in search of tickets. Kris and Jon are the last to arrive and they decide their best bet might be a travel agent. All the teams are now on their way to either the airport or in search of a travel agent.
