Tommy Lee Goes To College: Episodes 3
The Speedo & The Nervous Coeds
Recap by Brian Sikorski
August 24, 2005
Welcome everyone to the recap of last night's episode of Tommy Le...
WE INTERRUPT THIS RECAP TO BRING YOU A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Hey gang, Brian here! After posting last weeks recap of the first two gut wrenching episodes of "Tommy Lee Goes to College", I received a rather stern letter from a Mr. Ian Kerr. To those of you who don't know, Ian Kerr is the consummate professional that provides the much discussed narration of the Tommy Lee show. Mr. Kerr was very kind to remind me that I was not a journalist and he recommended that I attend journalism college to learn how to conduct research. He explained to me that he was indeed "British born and bred". So I would now like to submit to you loyal readers that I was incorrect in my observations of the narration being read with a fake accent.
It was in fact, read by a real life Brit. I apologize. I promise to never steer my readers down that dark shameful hole of deceit again.
As for Mr. Kerr, we are now the closest of friends and have exchanged e-mails. Ian and I are even planning to go bowling later in the week.
Now that we have cleared the air.....
we return to the recap…..already in progress…
...and the credits ended. I do really enjoy that song. For those of you who saw the Comedy Central Roast of Pam "I look better running in Slo-Mo" Anderson, then you saw our star Tommy Lee singing the theme and new single from Tommyland: The Ride. If you saw it, I am sorry for you. After three notes of the song, I realized something. I realized something so profound that I felt like I had just discovered a distant planet or some other metaphor like that. I realized Tommy Lee sucks live. It's true. He needs to stick to the studio clean recordings where his voice can be manipulated and tweaked for optimum performance.
Anywho, Tonight's episode started with Tommy having trouble in Biology class. He was struggling to put on rubber gloves. I was filled with flashbacks of high school science class when Tommy was faced with dissecting a frog. The professor is giving out directions to the students including the request to take out a piece of poop and take a look. Tommy again provides the audience with his trademark "Huh" look. "Did he just say `poop'?", Tommy asks his lab partner. The professor, overhearing him, replies "Yes, poop is awesome". Mister professor man then informs the class that they would have to "sex the frog". Tommy looks up from the carcass and attempts to think for a moment. You can almost hear the thoughts in his head. "Sex a frog?", he thinks. "Is that one of the moves in the karma sutra? Did I try that one with Pam that one time? Where does it go? How does it work?" Tommy again makes that trademark, "I have no idea" look on his face and then the opening credits roll.
As we come back from commercials, we see our boy back to work on the drum line. We hear from Ben, the drum captain, who feels sorry for Tommy and tries to help him. The band leader is calling Tommy out in front of the band when he makes mistakes and the is just adding to his frustration. I just keep waiting for Tommy to snap and start going crazy Motley Crue style. Late for chemistry class, Tommy continues to struggle to make sense of the lecture and the material.
