Who Will Win The Jackpot and Lose Their Hearts?
Looks like Jayre and Brandon have completely forgotten their so-called promises and vows and have decided to make the most of their present circumstances. These guys are complete oafs and their women need to take a serious look at what the future holds if they stick with these two.
Let me tell you something, people, Cabo San Lucas would even bring romance into the hearts of those that swear that they have never been in love. It is gorgeous, balmy, and yet primitive. It awakens all the senses. Don't tell me that Amber isn't tempted to get it on with Dr. Roy when he tries that old surgical technique the "lip lock" on her.
Sparks Are Flying All Around:
Amber and Roy
When the next video arrives, Diego decides to watch it by himself as she says directly to the camera how right it feels to be with Roy and that he would make a wonderful husband and father. Whoa! Diego is still not admitting to feeling any jealousy over Amber's budding romance with Dr. Roy while he's seeing the two of them playing "Titanic" as Leo and Kate aboard a luxury yacht. He does admit to being nervous on a deeper level, and feels humiliated. I would have thought that both parties agreed to this so-called ultimate love test.
Meanwhile, as they're on a lovely yacht, our girl Amber is beginning to feel a connection, it seems so right. So far, no impropriety has been noted by your faithful reviewer, but I'm hoping things will liven up and the show becomes a bit more exciting. Not one kiss has been exchanged between any of the couples. What's wrong with a little kiss? They do a lot of hugging. Roy prepares a Thai meal for her and she's delighted. He then tells her that he would like to kiss her, but she says that she cannot do that. She respects his courtesy in asking her. They raise their glasses and toast to a new friendship and possibly more.
Jayre and His Women
Jayre isn't really sure what he's doing at this lovely resort, but his time with Eva has been very "enlightening." Not a moment too soon, there is a knock at the door and Tenesha, woman #2, arrives. He says he's totally shocked, but notes that she's beautiful, tall and slender and that's not a bad thing. They go to have a meal together and unfortunately, it consists of shrimp. He admits that he's allergic to seafood, but ultimately he relents and lets her feed him. What the hell is that about? I'm not sure what she found to spoon feed him with, but since he didn't blow up like a Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon, it must have been safe food.
Jayre and Tenesha are slow dancing in his suite when there is a knock at the door and woman #3 arrives. Her name is Amanda. The three of them go out clubbing and dance the night away while doing shots. Next thing you know, old Jayre, who's not even kissed another woman yet, is doing Jello shots off Amanda's belly and he says they're pretty darn tasty. He says she's wild, likes to party, and she's just like him.
Exhausted, he returns to his abode when he sees candles lit all over the place and this leads him to Eva who has been waiting for him in the hot tub in her red bikini. He can't turn this down, in fact he gets his bathing trunks which is a good thing because after being massaged by her, he turns his back to her as he gets out because he didn't want her looking at "Big Poppa's ahem, lap."
Back in New York, Carolyn is supposed to be studying but she can't focus or concentrate on anything. Not while she's picturing Jayre touching other women. According to Jayre, it was Carolyn's idea to test their relationship by applying for this show. I don't think she quite realized the ramifications. As she is watching Jayre dancing with Tenesha and Amanda and gets to the part where Jayre is doing the Jello shots she declares that she is finished.
Brandon and Brooke
Shortly before the axe is about to fall on Brandon's schemes and dreams with Brooke, he's ruminating about not even missing Kenesha yet. It just hasn't set in. As he's thinking in this loving way of the girl he left back home, in comes Brooke to join him on the terrace of his casita. He notices at once that she is acting cold. She confronts him with his bad behavior as well as the fact that she also has been cheated on and she's sure that his girl would be all torn up if she thought that Brandon was going to pull that stunt again.
Brandon immediately goes into a denial mode, but Brooke is a tough cookie. She asks him outright, "How many times would you have kissed me last night?" to which he has the nerve to reply, "When I was drinking or when I was sober?" as if that would make a difference to a slimeball like him.
She tells him that he got sexual with her very rapidly and she has lost all respect for him. While he's whining about not overstepping any sexual boundaries, we see footage of him trying to kiss her and hearing her yell, "Hey, that's my boob!" He continues to insist that he didn't break any rules and has upheld his part of the bargain. He even says that he was planning on toning things down, but it's just too damn late, bro. She has been degraded.
He gives her a bone chilling look while she says that he has been treating her like a piece of meat and she cannot continue. He has the temerity to ask her if she's leaving before the food even arrives and she flounces off and says that she isn't hungry. Now that's a great exit. He got what he deserved.
Brandon doesn't see it this way. He just got a good asskicking and now he calls Brooke a "coward" and he could never have respect for "a girl like that." He even calls her a drama queen and comforts himself by saying what a shame it would have been to spend 3 weeks with just a pretty face. What a joker.
While all this is going on, Kenesha and her girlfriends get together and she describes the clips that she has seen of her guy being very flirty with Brooke. Her friends cannot fathom the reasons why she is with Brandon, other than his impressive six-pack. They believe that he'll betray Kenesha's trust again.
Heather and C.R.
C.R. must be getting as bored as I am hearing Heather repeatedly say that she wants more of a commitment from Frank. Why oh why does Frank always freak out when the subject comes up? C.R. just wants her to be happy or else he's getting tired of these endless questions. Although he's aware that she's got a man waiting for her at home, they're getting close and it's hard but good according to Heather. I've said the very same thing myself, but on a different occasion.
C.R. has a big adventure planned which involves taking Heather to swim with sea lions. Maybe she'll shut up underwater and that's his plan. Heather is enchanted by the beauty and we're still hearing her voiceover exclaim how she loves spontaneity and is growing closer to C.R. which makes her question her relationship with Frank. Questions, always with the questions.
Frank, back in Downey, is not sleeping well and would willingly give up the possible prize to have Heather back in his clutches. As a matter of fact, he drags poor Milton (the cat, remember?) into the drama by saying that they are both undergoing the same ordeal. Milton hears Heather's name and says a heartfelt "Meow.
The Next Fiendish Twist
All the "left behinds" get visits from a friend of their mates. Danielle, Heather's friend will be going to Cabo to deliver Frank's message. It's pretty simple, "I love her. I'm not mad at her." Danielle thinks he should come up with something more powerful but Frank is just too stressed even though he truly believes that C.R. doesn't have a chance with Heather.
Carolyn's friend will deliver the following message to Jayre, "I miss him. I love him. Stop touching those bitches." Oh, that's not all. He also gets an order to hit Jayre in the head.
Amber's friend Lauren is to deliver the following, "I love her very much. I trust her 100%." Oh yeah, and she's to tell Amber not to fly off with some guy who's got "dough and a PHD."
I thought Roy was a medical doctor. You need more than a PHD for that. Lauren is pretty sure that Diego is jealous even though he's not copping to it.
In a surprise move, Kenesha gets a note telling her that she herself will fly to Cabo to meet her beloved Brandon. This makes her suspicious, just when she thought that she had nothing to worry about. What planet is she from?
Next Week:
Find out what happens when Kenesha gets to hear Brandon calling Brooke "distorted" while the various friends come to deliver the messages? One couple finds the separation too much and drops out. I'm already on the edge of my seat, aren't you?
