With Beth gone, it seems the Veterans are done with the drama. Jodi and Alton's relationship seems to heat up. At a challenge involving a large pit, both teams struggle, but in the end the Rookies use great thinking to get all their teammates out. For the Veterans though, Timmy is the last one in the pit and can't get out. Though Derrick thinks Timmy should go to the gauntlet, the rest of the team has other ideas and screws Brad again by voting him into the gauntlet. Derrick wins and Brad's dreams of winning a challenge are crushed again. Later, Alton reveals that he only wants to be friends with Jodi, even though they've danced close and made out at the club.
