American Idol: Judges Save Casey For The Tour – Ranking the Top 11 Again

Tour worthy.
American Idol may have had its most intense and surprising elimination results show ever, but I am so happy the fans have finally spoken.
In an effort to get underrated and improved contestants, Naima and Haley, on tour, the fans rebel against the PTB (powers that be), and voted their hearts out, giving the most objective and accurate bottom three of the season.
Even though I was not quite as harsh on Stefano as probably I should have been, like America was clearly, I agree he deserved to be placed in the bottom three after an emotionally noncommittal performance.
Thia should have left tonight, but if all the Idols get to go on tour thanks to tonight’s save, then I am perfectly fine with her continuing on in the competition.
Thank god the American public gave their middle finger back to the judge’s in regards to Casey Abrams. What upsets the fans most is when a contestant is universally praised when they clearly had room for improvement, and was begging to be given constructive criticism.
The only way America can voice their rebellion is to take it out on the over-praised contestant, and they did so by eliminating the former frontrunner, Casey Abrams, embarrassing the judges completely and making them look like total bumbling buffoons.
I hope this is an eye-opener for the judges that if they are not able to give constructive criticism and just pour love over their predetermined favorites, they will be in for a very rude awakening from the American public.
The good thing about tonight is the save is finally gone. Now there is a real competition, and all eleven contestants will be on the Idol Tour, with two leaving next week.
I was praying that Haley at least made it to the tour, and she thankfully did.
Naima really deserved the spot too with a performance that brought down the house last night.
Even Stefano and Thia, average and boring as they may be, at least have the vocal chops to make a tour interesting. I cannot wait to book my tickets for the best Idol tour in ages.
I really think we have a real competition on our hands.
What was most surprising was that Naima and Haley were both safe tonight, and as a voter and a viewer, that makes me happy.
It makes me have a lot of hope in the objective voting of the American public, and it allows for an unpredictable season.
I cannot wait to see where the rest of the season is heading.
Here are my rankings for the top 11 idols:
