American Idol Recap: America Sets Up A Great Finale! Recap and Commentary by Idolhead Ed
May 18, 2012
Who will it be?
Well we got American Idol right again.
I think it will be a very good final. Probably the best since the David/David battle. Maybe better.
Here’s how the night went down.
We start off with the group song. It sounded good and it should with these three singing.
We then get to gander at the Ford commercial of the week minus Phillip. I think this is the first season ever one of the contestants doesn’t participate in the Ford Commercial.
Got thoughts? Post them at the end.
Well It might come back to bite Phillip. He just might not get his Mustang usually reserved for the top 2.
This one I really liked I am a fan of silent comedies. Josh looked awesome as the Bobby.
First up to get the once over is Josh.
As Jimmie comments in the order of the song choices he like me didn’t think that first performance of Josh’s was standing-o worthy.
Why can’t he be a judge next season? Just why? He did say he thought Joshua deserved to be in the final.
Next we get Elvis’s daughter Lisa Marie singing g her new single. Y
ou know they said they think Elise was too old for a new career. Well Lisa Marie is 44. As I was listening to this though I was thinking how great Haley would sound singing this.
Jimmie didn’t really give her high marks for her night but gave her an ultimate compliment with his “She should be singing at the Grammys”. You know what….he’s right again.
Wrong about the night but right about the Grammys.
After her review we get a dose of Adam Lambert. And a dose it was.
