American Idol: Who Survives? Who Goes Home? The Top 13
Predictions by The Reality TV Calendar Staff
March 8, 2012
Each week the staff of Reality TV Calendar predicts who will survive and who will be going home.

In past seasons we have successfully spotted the eventual winner early in the show.

We have a great record of predicting who is going home each week.

Keep in mind that American Idol is not all about talent. It's not all about the best performance.

It is also about the vote and the voting blocks.

Who will be popular?

Who will get votes because they're cute, have a great personality or a compelling story?

Who will the tweens vote for? What about the granny's? The southern block?

We think about all these factors and more when we make our predictions and then we take our best guess. We often disagree. But we almost always nail it.

We'll see how we do this year.

Got thoughts? Post them at the end.

Writer Standout Performance Who Should Go Home Who Will Go Home
Ron Lemon Jessica Sanchez - I Will Always Love You Shannon Magrane Shannon Magrane
C. C. McCandless Jessica Sanchez - I Will Always Love You Shannon Magrane Shannon Magrane
Idolhead Ed Jessica Sanchez - I Will Always Love You Shannon Magrane Shannon Magrane
James Kuz Hollie Cavanagh -All The Man That I Need Shannon Magrane Jermaine Jones
Joseph Braverman Jessica Sanchez - I Will Always Love You Heejun Han Jermaine Jones

The top three will be Jessica, Skylar Laine and Phillip Phillips. Jessica and Skylar will sing for the title and Jessica will be this season's American Idol. And she will have the success of Kelly and Carrie. She deserves it.

By the way, I'm 7 for 10. Foolish me.

I have to say a word or two about Skylar. She's my girl. I love her style, her sass and her voice. Lil' Reba could win this, if it weren't for Jessica. But she'll get a career out of this too.

So who is gone?

That would be.....
