Although significant information about contestants was released weeks ago by TV Guide the cast has been officially introduced by CBS. Photos are above, details are below.
- Another formerly dating couple makes this edition of the race; Adam Malis, 27 and Rebecca Cardon, 29 are both personal trainers and spinning instructors from Los Angeles.
- Each race seems to have a pair of buddies. This time it's high school buddies Avi Schneier, 32 is a high school science teacher from Brooklyn, NY, and Joe Rashbaum, 32, is an advertising agency owner and entrepreneur from Ventura, CA.
- This race's older couple are married grandparents Don St. Claire, 69, and his wife Mary Jean, 66. Don is a physician and Mary Jean is an interior designer and food supplement salesperson. They live in Potola Valley, CA.
- Of course there has to be an engaged couple who happen to be models. This time its Freddy Holliday, 34, a pilot and model from Miami, FL and his fiancee Kendra Bently, 25, also a model and also from Miami, Fl.
- They must have a checklist when casting. This race's father/daughter team is Gus McLeod, 50, and daughter Hera McLeod, 24. Gus is an adventure pilot and motivational speaker from Gaithersburg, MD and Hera is a special education teacher from Los Angeles, CA.
- Yet another dating couple who are both model / actors from Los Angeles, CA is made up of Hayden Kristianson and Aaron Crumbaugh. Both are 25.
- The married couple catagory is represented by Joanthan Baker, 42 and Victoria Fuller, 32; both of Los Angeles. He is an entrepeneur and she is a pop artist painter and model.
- There has to be a long distance couple. This time its Kris Perkins, 30, a Long Beach, CA. student and cocktail waitress and Jon Buehler, 29, a retaurant owner from Scottsdale, AZ.
- The sisters this time are Lena Jensen, 23 and Kristy Jensen, 26. Both are from Pleasant Grove, UT. Lena is a student. Kristy is a student, and of course, a model.
- We do have a new category in this race. Married professional wrestlers. Lori Harvey is 33 and her tag team partner Bolo Dar'tanian is 38. They are from Molino, FL.
- And finally filling out the best friends requirment are Meredith Tugaro, a licensing manager and Maria Sampogna, a sales assistant. Both are 26 and from Queens, NY.
