Commentary and Recap by RTVC Staff Writer Jacob D.

Jennifer gets 1st photo.
Previously on America's Next Top Model, the girls received walking lessons from Miss J and practiced walking in groups.
In-house drama centered around Bianca's attitude and Ashley and Lulu's cattiness.
The challenge involved the girls walking in a fashion show alongside taller models and Brittany won. The photo shoot involved the girls cheating their angles to make themselves look taller/longer than they actually are and at judging panel, Kara's photo was deemed the best.
Brittany and Lulu were left as the bottom two and though Brittany's performance had been inconsistent, Lulu was eliminated for not making enough of an impact with her photos. 10 girls remain; who will be eliminated this week?
At the house, Kara is a happy camper because she was called first when Tyra was handing out the photos at the previous judging panel. Not so happy? Brittany, who was on the other end of the spectrum, landing in the bottom two. Erin, I don't know whether or not she's joking, but she seems to be taking delight in Brittany's fall from grace. She says Brittany has won a million challenges and proclaims, "Oh how the mighty have fallen!" She feels that shows Brittany where she stands in the competition. Yes because winning one challenge and having only one good photo puts her right at the top. Shut up, dipstick. Ashley reads Lulu's goodbye note and is sad, but will not give up on herself. Bianca feels she is progressing and learning.
Tyra Mail: "Sometimes you only have a minute to make a second impression. -Love, Tyra"
The next day, the girls head out to a studio to meet with make-up artist, Sam Fine. He will be teaching the girls how to apply their own makeup and starts by demonstrating a smokey eye on Laura. I don't know. To me, that doesn't look like a smokey eye, it just looks like a big blob of brown makeup pasted onto her face. Sam tells the girls that a model really only needs four basics: concealer, bronzer, mascara, and gloss. We see a montage of girls badly applying makeup before Sam sends them away. Yes girls, put the lipstick down and step away from the mirror! It's a concealed weapon coveted by the mafia!
Later that evening, the girls meet with Nigel and his wife Crissy in front of a Wal-Mart for their CoverGirl challenge. They must create a model perfect look ready for go-sees and of course, whomever does the best job is the winner. After a blatant commercial spiel for both CoverGirl and Wal-Mart, Nigel adds another twist by saying this is some version of, "Model Musical Chairs," my words and not his. Each station will have less items than there are girls so whomever shows up last is eliminated. In the end, only the first three girls that show up will be judged by Nigel and Crissy. How is that fair? All you have to do is be fast and adequate. It's not really a competition to see who can put on the best face if you're limiting how many girls get judged. Anyways, the winner of the challenge will get their picture on CoverGirl's page on Wal-Mart's website and a $1,000 Wal-Mart giftcard.
And they're off! Stampeding shorties in aisle six! The first station holds only enough clothes for eight girls. Laura and Kara don't make it which leaves Ashley, Bianca, Brittany, Erin, Jennifer, Nicole, Rae, and Sundai zooming off to station two, which holds the shoes. As the girls are rounding corners, we see Erin's competitive side come out as she pushes/pulls on Ashley and Sundai at various points. Only six pairs of shoes are available and Nicole and Jennifer must go without, meaning they are out of the challenge.
The girls rush to the third station.....
