This week's episode of America's Next Top Model showed us some of the highs and lows of fashion.
The girls received posing lessons from Benny Ninja. The emphasis was movement as Benny instructed the girls on a trampoline.
The challenge saw the girls posing with a partner on an ice skating rink and Lisa won, a decision a few girls disagreed with.
For the photo shoot, the girls had to become fashion gargoyles.
Though Ambreal seemed to be getting worse instead of improving, Janet was cut because she needed too much coaching to become a model. 9 girls are left.
What will happen next time?
Heather

Heather is a 21 year old college student from Valparaiso, IN.
You continue to be the judges' favorite and take great pictures, but anyone with eyes can see that you're stuck in the "profile only zone" that nearly jeopardized Cycle Four Naima and Cycle Five Nik's run in the past. There are other things you need to worry about such as your runway walk and any upcoming commercial assignments, but right now, focus on taking a picture where you look straight ahead and not off to the side. Also, congrats on winning your third CoverGirl of the Week title. You deserve it!

Another week, another great photo. You've shown great versatility and the judges love you. All you need to work on right now is your unkempt appearance at judging panel.
Lisa

Lisa is a 20 year old dancer from Jersey City, NJ. Hmmm.
You really got on my nerves this week. When first we saw you, you complained ad nauseam about your perceived faults. I'm sure you've been through a lot and I know that Rome wasn't built in a day. Getting over these insecurities will take a while. However, it didn't seem like you were really trying to get over them. It seemed like you were fishing for compliments and expecting people to take pity on you. Then, at the posing class, you pulled an Anchal by trying without actually trying. You defeated yourself even before your turn came up and you only seemed to do it just so you could get it done as soon as possible. You managed to win the challenge, a decision some of the girls and myself don't agree with. Then, you let Saleisha get into your head with all these crazy notions about the girls hating you. So what if they disagree with the judges' decision at the challenge? They weren't trashing you and saying you're a terrible person, they just didn't agree. Big deal. Let them d! eal with it in their own way and get over it. You continued your "poor-me" play by over-analyzing at the photo shoot. Even though you turned in a great photo, a subtle signal from you made Tyra wonder what was wrong and you painted this picture of you as Cinderella and the other girls as the wicked stepsisters even though they really didn't do anything terribly wrong. Do you enjoy playing the victim Lisa? Get over it. I'm moving you up because you shined in a big way with the judges, but please don't continue this one woman show, "Lisa the Martyr."
Bianca

I love the fact that you seem to be getting used to your makeover. It really does make you a hundred times more amazing than before and puts you head and shoulders above most of the other girls. Your style and presence are terrific and you finally took an amazing photo. Keep up the good work, Bianca!
Saleisha

Saleisha is a 21 year old receptionist from Los Angeles.
First of all, I did not like that annoying little yappy lap-dog act you pulled with Lisa this week. Running to her and telling her about all the evil things the girls said seemed like you were making them look bad and trying to make yourself look good at the same time. You acted as if the girls were saying Lisa needs to go home, but their only sin was that they didn't agree with her victory in the challenge. For making a mountain out of a molehill, you slip in my personal list of favorites. However, for injecting new life into your photo and looking smashing, you regain favor with the judges and improve your standing.
Sarah

Sarah is a 20 year old college student from Heath, MA.
You took a terrific photo and in another shoot, it would've gone over well. However, the theme this week was "fashion gargoyle" and there was none of that in your picture. It makes me think that you're working on autopilot rather than really making a name for yourself since all your pictures seem a little similar to me. That's not a bad thing because all your pictures have been lovely, but we need to see a new side of you.
Chantal

You returned to form with another terrific photo, but the judges still complained that they want to see more from you. You always give them "soft and pretty," so try working on "rough and edgy" to round out your versatility more.
Ebony

Ebony is a 20 year old nursing student from Chicago.
I would love to put you higher Ebony, but despite the fact that you are now taking great pictures one after the other, the judges still fret over your personal presence. They find it odd that you never smile and continue to have to prod you into being personable and bubbly. Nigel even hinted in deliberations that it may be your last chance. Be more outgoing and you'll be back on track.
Ambreal

Ambreal is a 19 year old college student from Dallas, TX.
Oh Amby. You had quite the confusing week. You excelled at the posing class and seemed to do well in the challenge. However, Benny got on your case about smiling too big even though it seemed a lot of girls did the same. Then, you had to deal with your fear of heights, but were unable to truly break free in the photo shoot. At panel, the judges felt your picture was off and Benny once again hammered you for doing too much. You ended up in the bottom two because the judges didn't see a model in you this week and Tyra felt you were backtracking instead of progressing. I think you got a little bit of a raw deal, but you still need to work on stepping up your game
