the sunset.
“Fasten your seatbelts it’s going to be a bumpy night” on The Apprentice.
Which would be worse in Donald Trump’s point of view, to put on a mediocre golf event on budget or to put on a stellar event but go badly over budget?
Unless things change in the next half hour, that’s the pickle in which Donald J. Trump will find himself.
Brandy knows nothing about golf, but does know about putting on a high-class event. She is counting on Liza (not Minnelli) to fill in the golf part.
So Donald J. In A Pickle Trump, cripples that effort by snagging our little used to be a golfer but is still real cute Liza to go play 18 holes with him. During the competition.
It’s been a week since he made that announcement and my dander is still up.
One, it’s not fair. And two, this action following on his statement last week that he has been sheltering and protecting Liza for this whole “interview process”, just screams for an EEOC investigation.
Mr. Trump, Sir, you are the boss. You own the whole little world in which you live, and everyone knows that you love the whole concept of nepotism. The fact that so far your children have turned out to be pretty darned bright is just lucky for you.
But this … Sir … to blatantly pursue a pretty female while skirting all rules of your own competition, not to mention commonsense, smacks of a man who is being led by something other than his business sense.
I’ve been saying all season that I’m coming to admire Trump’s business acumen. Done. No more.
Rant over. Brandy and Clint are still playing this game so let’s see how it all shakes out.
Clint … when they remake “the Miracle Worker” it will be telling his story.
Clint calls the printer and sweet talks them into reprinting everything for $1,000. That is the exact amount of the credit they had at the printer. This doesn’t happen, not in the real world. It’s either a documentable miracle or it’s a Donald Trump miracle.
Whatever is the reverse of miracle, is what happened to Brandy. There they were all ready for the arrival of Donald Trump so they, with Kathy Griffin, could welcome the golfers before the shotgun start.
Somehow Trump must have arrived through a back entrance because there they were at the podium with no audience. Anand was out front to greet people and the “lost” photographer showed up. Kathy Griffin arrived and was greeted and briefed.
