You have to feel for Rachel Goetz of Average Joe 3: Adam's Return. First Adam blatantly leads her on, then dumps her on national TV, and then the poor girl gets home from filming to discover she has lost her job as a second grade teacher. She is being allowed to work as an on call substitute for another month, but then it is over, and that is a far cry from having a permanent position with the attendant pay and benefits that she has lost. Lost in the lost cause of Adam. To be fair to the school board, Rachel did request a three week unpaid leave to participate in what her leave request called "the opportunity of a life time," but she did not wait around to see if it was approved. The short notice casting and shooting schedule required that she leave immediately. The request was denied and when Rachel returned she was asked for her resignation. Our sympathies to Rachel. We expect she is too good for both Adam and the school district.
