Rejected but not
dejected.
With The Bachelor On The Wings of Love over and Jake having rejected Tenley Molzahn it's time to catch up with Tenley and get her take on what happened during the season and how she feels about it.
She spent time on the phone with reporters Tuesday morning and talked until there were no more questions.
She's going to surprise you. Read on...
Your first question is from Gina Scarpa from RealityWanted.
Gina Scarpa: Hi, Tenley. How are you?
Tenley Molzahn: Hi, Gina. I'm good. Thank you. How are you?
Gina Scarpa: I'm great. Well, I just wanted to let you know I absolutely loved you this season.
Tenley Molzahn: Oh, thank you.
Gina Scarpa: And I've watched The Bachelor for a long time, and I've never really seen anyone handle a breakup as well as you did with a lot of grace and class. So just tell me what was going through your mind at that final rose ceremony, and what made you end up handling it as well as you did?
Tenley Molzahn: Excellent question. Well, from the very, very first moment that I saw Jake on that day, I kind of had this feeling that it wasn't me because of the way he greeted me. It was just a different way of greeting than we usually had in - and he had a lot of concern on his face, and it kind of seemed very - it's just like he didn't know what he was doing.
So, I just - I kind of had peace with knowing that if he was that concerned that, you know, then I was probably best to be going home. It was just hard to take it by my friends that I, you know, really built a great relationship with. And I think that the way that I - the reason why I was able to handle it the way I did which it was still very emotional, but at the same time, I had so much peace because I really have been like just praying like I don't want to be in another relationship that's not going to be the one, you know, if I'm that far into it. Let me go if this is the way I'm supposed to be. So, I think it worked out for the best, since he seems to be very happy with Vienna.
Gina Scarpa: Thanks so much.
Tenley Molzahn: Thanks, Gina.
Operator: Your next question comes from Anya Zadrozny from MTV VH1 Radio.
Anya Zadrozny: Hi.
Tenley Molzahn: Hi, Anya.
Anya Zadrozny: Hi. Did you get to watch the show last night? I know you might have been flying or did you get to see it, and then did it bring you back anywhere or did it look like it felt?
Tenley Molzahn: Yes. Most of the show, I actually missed my date with Jake's family. So, I can't wait to watch that because I have really great memories of that day. And they're an awesome family but yes, watching it definitely took me back there, and everything was pretty accurate.
There's always things that we don't get to see.....
