It's important to
know what you want.
On The Bachelor: Wings of Love Ali Fedotowsky told Jake and the world that she could not leave her job, even though she was in love with Jake.
It was a risk she couldn't take. Not for love.
But for some fame, no sweat, she quit.
Ali now admits she has quit her job as an advertising account manager to become the new Bachelorette.
Now she is telling the world she is determined to not make the mistake she did on The Bachelor. She's willing to take the risk and chuck her job for a chance at falling in love. Again.
So what changed?
They offered her The Bachelorette. And who knows where that might lead.
I know there are a lot of Ali fans out there. You know I'm not one of them.
I think she used the show for exposure. I think she played a part the way she wanted to. I think she manipulated the situation to her advantage. And I think it worked out just the way she wanted it to.
Give the girl credit. She had a goal and she achieved it.
Do I think she will find true love on The Bachelorette and live happily ever after. Nope.
Do I think she'll find fame. Yup.
The girl is driven and will do what it takes.
Here's how she explains her decision...
“I had to leave my job. Monday was my last day. It was a really tough decision. At the end of the day, I don’t want to look back on my life and say there was this opportunity to meet a great guy and take that risk and I didn’t take it because I was scared, which is the same reason I didn’t take the risk with Jake and I don’t want to make that mistake again. So I’m just going to go for it. I hope it works out,” she explains.
As for her feelings towards Jake, who was engaged to Vienna Girardi on the season finale of The Bachelor, Ali says, “I’m happy for him. He’s engaged and happy and I hope it works out for him because I want to have faith in my own journey.”
You know we'll be watching her "journey", and writing about it.
With all the tabloid attention that has been given to this season of The Bachelor you can bet it will repeat when The Bachelorette hits in May. Right now TMZ and all the rest are looking into the life of Ali Fedotowsky.
What are they going to find?
