There is a lot of controversy surrounding this season of "The Bachelor: on the Wings of Love" and finally it is revealed in episode two.
This week’s episode started with Jake, often referred to as the nice guy who finishes last, expressing “I am confident in the 15 women that I’ve kept and I can not wait to start getting to know each and every one of them.”
Truth of the matter is he may not be as confident once he finds out where one Hot Momma woman stands.
Women will be women. One of the girls says it best with “the competition is getting pretty fierce.” Any fan of The Bachelor series or any keen observer in life knows although love may appear to be simply, a beautiful destination, there may be a tricky, rocky road to travel to get there. Not everyone on this show is guaranteed to arrival either.
“Take advantage of your time with Jake, because each week, not everyone will be getting to go on a date with Jake,” warns host, Chris Harrison as the women sit awaiting the first group date card.
The lucky few, excluding Miss Moody Michelle, hop into a Hummer Limo and head to Santa Monica for a day of fun.
A friend of Jake’s comes to explain the details of the date. This friend turns out to be fashion director for In Style Magazine, Hal Rubenstein. Professional modeling women Gia and Rozlyn bring out another side of Troublemaking Christina, one who confidently brought parting snacks for the girls who would leave the house.
Jake shares that the purpose of the shoot is for him to examine the girls because he wants them to “have fun with it and let themselves go and be playful.”
Christina who has hands “disgustingly dripping in sweat” says “I think I’m a little…little hivish.” Christina looks shocked that she isn’t able to add more women to her insecure plan of destruction. Maybe it is because they remember her cruel intention gift the first night.
The show continues to devote a lot of time following Christina’s attention-getting antics as she goes into joker mode with telling one of the computer tech’s he could make her “really skinny with really, really big boobs.”
On the other hand, Rozlyn, Ashleigh, Gia, Valishia, and Corrie are getting praised in their photo process with Jake. Christina’s ugly duckling feelings seem to quack louder and louder.
Jake notices her nerves and comes to quiet her down. “Look what the dress is doing with her eyes” he says to ease her tension. She instantly calms down enough to accept more compliments and even allows herself to start dancing with the bachelor as the photographer clicks away.
On the sidelines, Christina starts to share her thoughts on how special a man Jake is and how when he looks in her eyes…Uh! Oh! Player, Player.
