The Bachelor: You’ve Got to Be Kidding
Recap and Commentary by RTVC Staff Writer Tara Alley

Is she real?
I don’t even know where to start, other than to profess my outright outrage at the way things went down on The Bachelor: After The Final Rose show last night.

Heck, I wasn’t even supposed to watch it. I’ve been hardcore Team Emily since day one when she stepped out of the limo and spoke her first words in that sweetest of sweet southern drawls.

There was no way I was staying up an extra hour to watch Brad and Chantal brag about their undying love and watch my precious southern girl sit on a sofa alone and cry some serious tears. That girl has had enough heartbreak already right?

Got thoughts? Post them at the end.

You can imagine then, when he let Chantal go, that I was blown away. Elated doesn’t cut it. This never happens! My pick won! He picked the good girl. He picked the girl I never thought he’d have the guts too.

He didn’t take the easy, fun way out. He took the high road and chose a girl with more grace and elegance than I’ve maybe ever seen. After Show with Brad and Emily in love? Bring it!

So, when Chantal came out post show and started crying again, from all accounts, it looked like she was still in love with Brad, and my heart broke a little more.

Brad danced around her questions, clearly only in an effort to placate/not upset Emily in the backroom, which did nothing to help Chantal. But then, we find out she’s already dating someone?

Okay. Ladies. If you’re going to accuse a man of stringing you along and make him feel like crap and make us feel horrible for you, don’t you dare then tell me that actually, you’re happily dating someone else. Bad, bad all around.

Alright, so pity party for Chantal officially done and done. Let’s bring out the lovely, classy Emily Maynard who would never do such a thing.

And then. Bombshell.....
