Is it Chantal?
Normally, I am not one to turn on the Bachelor or Bachelorette until after the final episode.
I always try to keep an open mind, and be entirely supportive, considering we are following them along for their journey to find love.
However, I think Brad may just have lost me in the penultimate episode, where it is clear who he is going to choose at the very end.
Now I know Brad is a nice guy and has a difficult time communicating things. I also know that I have been extremely difficult on Ashley this entire season, but I can assure you the girl did absolutely nothing wrong this episode.
I put the blame on Brad and Brad alone. Okay, Brad was so concerned about his future with Ashley that he could not just for a second live in the moment, as he asks so many hesitant girls to do, and not try to come to a definitive conclusion on where he and Ashley will end up living.

Also, his little jab at Ashley saying that not once did she suggest moving to Austin, Texas could be an argument also made about Brad.
Did Brad ever once spring up and discuss the possibilities of moving to Maine? It all seemed so Bachelor, the-man-in-love-and-in-charge is always right, typical.
Love conquers all on this show, supposedly, even if it means destroying a relationship with an independent woman who has a career ahead of her. Sorry Brad, they can’t all be cocktail waitresses.
Brad felt that Ashley was not communicating properly, or that he was misunderstanding her communication skills. The bottom line is that Brad was being self-absorbed and completely selfish.
He wanted his future his way, and nothing else. He wanted the girl to drop her career and just focus on him.
It seemed such an obvious conservative and traditionalist perspective, that it about made me hack. Again, I want to reiterate that I like Brad, but his self-absorption really showed this episode.
I do not blame Ashley for being hurt at the end. Brad and Ashley’s chemistry was obvious from the very first episode, but Brad wanted immediate answers before he took a shot at love, and they were not the answers he was hoping for.
Ashley is a very strong and independent woman, and I have no doubt that she will recover from this debacle and become an amazing dentist. Of all the episodes we have seen of Ashley, this one was easily Ashley’s best yet.
Emily is in a class of her own. Her cute little “shut up” southern-voiced comments are endearing, sweet, and make me long to find an Emily of my own.
Her genuine joy.....
