The rest of the bachelorettes can just imagine the beautiful scenery that Rachel and Ben will get to experience, and a helicopter would be the best way to really see this big open mountains that surrounds them.
Ben says early on the date that he likes where it is headed with Rachel. Ben likes that Rachel is super mellow. Rachel is really down to earth.
Ben likes that they have a rather simple date planned outdoors and feels like he can really gage if he and Rachel have any chemistry. Ben takes her down to lake and they go out in a canoe.
They peck on the lips and kiss fairly early on in the date. Rachel says that it really nice to have these feelings again, and that it has been a while for her.
Back at the hotel suite, Kacie is confiding in Monica that it is harder to have the first date, because it draws out the wait even longer.
They discuss Rachel's chances. Monica says that she does not see Rachel with Ben, and thinks that Rachel may be the first individual date sent home.
Rachel says that there is so much pressure on a first date to spill your guts and impress your date.
Rachel comments to Ben that she has had a date every week, and she thanks Ben for all those opportunities to date Ben.
Rachel thinks that Ben is winking, but Ben says that he squinting with the sun. Ben says that has a hard time with eyes.
The date seems to be small talk with some awkward pauses. Ben thinks that Rachel is really beautiful and he wants to get to know Rachel better. He needs to know if there is more to Rachel.
Ben says this is the fist time that he is left a little confused on an individual date. Ben cannot read if Rachel is interested in him or not.
There is something lacking in the conversation between them. However, Ben is not ready to give up yet.
The group date card arrives back at the hotel suite. Eight women will go on the group date.
They are Jamie, Casey S., Blakeley, Lindzi, Samantha, Nicki, Kacie B., and Courtney. The date card states Let's See If You Are A Great Catch.
Rachel and Ben have moved on to the evening dinner. Ben is starting to get more concerned that Rachel is not all that into him.
Rachel is really nervous about opening up to Ben, which ironically making it harder for her to open up to Ben.
Rachel admits to Ben that it is really hard for her to open up, and that her last relationship broke up due to communication issues. Rachel tries her best to let Ben know that she is really interested in him and she is honest about her flaw.
