The Bachelorette: Jake Swears To Us That Wes Told Him He Loves Laurel Not Jillian And Even More

Bachelorette castoff Jake Pavelka is speaking out about his confrontation with Wes this past week on the show. The Dallas Pilot returned to The Bachelorette before Jillian’s hometown date with Wes to tell her that the aspiring singer is the guy who still has a girlfriend.
Jake told Jillian that Wes admitted to still dating a girl named Laurel despite being on the show. Wes denied the accusations and insisted he and Laurel are only good friends. Laurel Kagay spoke out yesterday and insisted Wes is being honest, but Jake still isn’t buying it.
In a new interview with People magazine, Jake says he didn’t come back for another chance with Jillian. “I wanted to come back because I had information she needed to make the best decisions about the remaining guys to be there for her. Now I sleep easy at night,” he says.
The 31-year-old says he still stands by his claim that Wes and Laurel are dating. “I don’t believe it. I know it. Without a shadow of a doubt, he and Laurel were together. They’re still together. It’s an act and Laurel was in cahoots with him. They had an agreement to put their relationship on the back-burner so he could go on and sell CDs. His biggest fear was making it far enough to go on overnight dates because that wasn’t okay with Laurel. Evidently she cleared [him] to kiss. I’m a God-fearing man and if I am mistaken or he didn’t tell me that, God can strike me down
with lightning right now,” Jake says.
“We had multiple conversations. He confided with me. He told me he loved [Laurel]. He said, ‘I’m going to break her heart. I’m going to bow out when the time is right.’ This stuff came out of his mouth,” he insists.
As for Jake’s pick for Jillian, he says Kiptyn is a “solid guy.” “[They’d] make a pretty cute couple,” he adds
