Bachelor Pad: No Guts To Vote Out The Inner Circle
Commentary and Recap by RTVC Staff Writer Gayl Killough

Telling it like it is.
It is getting a lot less friendly on The Bachelor Pad as the bachelors and bachelorettes have to make some tough decisions.

Waking up after multiple blow-ups among the cast is taking the game into a whole new directions. Are they there to party and have a good time, or will playing the game take priority?

To paraphrase Wes, everyone needs to quit blowing smoke up each other's rears and make decisions on what is best for the game. After watching Wes on Jillian's season of The Bachelorette, I am really surprised how much I like Wes on The Bachelor Pad and that Wes seems like the most down to earth player. Never thought I would be writing that Wes would be the voice of reason. Wes has turned out to be really loyal to Gia, and while his loyalty to Gia has hurt him in the game, Wes doesn't quite follow his own advice, Natalie who can party hard, does have a point about Wes that has been too vocal about his opinions, and the game also involves building relationships too. Natalie may be playing the best game, but I am disappointed in the game playing of nearly everyone.

David is mad that Wes forced a tie vote that he had to make a public decision to keep Elizabeth in the game over Gia. Wes is mad that Gia went home instead of some more deserving people and Wes felt like it was not Gia's time to go home.

The rules are similar to the previous weeks. There will be a female winner and a male winner of the contest. They each have a chance to give a rose to the opposite gender who will also be safe. However this time, instead of group dates, there will be only one-on-one dates. They have the option to not give the rose to the individual they choose to take along on their date. One female and one male will be voted off this episode. The males will be voting off the females and vice versa.

The contestants are all given a survey that they have to fill out. They are told to tell the truth and not discuss their answers with anyone else. My first reaction is how do they expect the contestants to not talk to each other, then I remember that they do have cameras in the mansion, so that really could be enforced if the powers behind the show wants to make sure that they don't want them to talk. The questions appear to be of a type that the cast hopes will never be revealed, but they realize that this survey is going to come back and bite them. They also don't want to rock the boat with anyone else either and be voted out because of their answers, so telling the truth is difficult.

The contest this week is based on the survey. The contestants are not surprised. The males and females are lined up separately and given a pad to write down their answers. They will be guessing how the majority voted on each question of the survey. Gwen points out that it is not how they individually answered the questions, but how they feel the majority answered the question. Each contestant gets a point if they guess correctly how the majority answered the question. The first person of each gender to receive four points wins or when it comes down to the remaining two of each gender, there are tie-breaker questions until someone wins.

First question is who.....
