Making others miserable
makes him feel good.
The hamsters of Big Brother simply have no idea what is true anymore.
There has been so much lying, so much deception, so many plots and so many schemes that nobody in the house can keep track any more. And in some ways they have simply given up on trying.
Most, but not all, of this can be attributed Ronnie.
This self-proclaimed genius gamer may be one of the most self-delusional people to ever play Big Brother. His contact with reality is questionable. He seems to think that all the world is a game; like the video games he is so addicted to.
He has lied to everyone in the house in one way or another, some more than others. His approach has been to lie to create alliances with everyone, and to lie and make targets of everyone. The more he lies, the more the attention gets focused on someone else.
It has worked to some extent. He has been blamed for being the Rat that has caused all the problems in the house. But he has managed to shift that blame to Russell, to Michelle, to Lydia and to Kevin at different times. Yesterday he got all four in one day.
Ronnie began his first lie of the day early yesterday morning. He told Jessie that the night before Jordan and Jeff told him that they wished they could vote for him to stay. He says he will be working them to show them that they can vote for his safety and evict Lydia. He tells Jessie he is sure he can get at least a sympathy vote out of Jordan.
He tells Jessie that if “I can pull this off it will be the most persuasive thing ever!” Jessie just tells him that he “played a good game”. I don't think Jessie bought it.
While this is going on Jeff is telling Michelle about Ronnie trying to get them the night before. They are laughing about it so I don't think he sold them either.
Later in the morning Russell goes on a paranoia binge that will screw the house up all day long.
It seems he was part of a conversation with Michell that included a discussion of sexual dysfunction in rats. Real rats, the kind Michelle works with in the lab. She made a joke, maybe not such a good idea, but it was a joke, about Russell and erectile dysfunction. Russell took it very very personally. Maybe he does have a problem. Who knows?
Anyway he has now decided that Michelle is the root of all evil in Hamsterville. She has thrown him under the bus repeatedly. He keeps telling Jessie “She is fucking us all”.
When Russell leaves.....
