Big Brother 11: Here's The Initial Rankings - Revenge Of The Nerds
Rankings and Commentary by Big Sister
July 1, 2009
Big Brother 11 premieres Thursday night at 8pm e/p on CBS and my job is to tell you, my loyal readers, who is going to win it all sometime in the middle of September.

Yeah, this will be an easy one to write up.

How in the world do I do that? Until Thursday night we will not even be sure who the 13th hamster is. Although I have my guess and he's included below.

The best I can do is take a look at their bio's, watch the interviews and the promos, sniff the wind, cast the bones, read the pizza crumbs and then...guess.

Just like all the other predictions you have seen. Oh well, it will be interesting to come back at the end of the season and see how I did.

By the way, I'll be updating the rankings several times a week. Not because of what CBS or even Show Time lets us see, but based on what is really going on in Hamsterville. If you're not watching the feeds you just don't know the truth.

But before I rank them we better take a look at the first Head of Household competition. Its already a done deal. It took place last Sunday night and we have had an HoH since then.

If we understand the rules for this season, the HoH is not allowed to nominate anybody in their own clique. That appears to be true for the Power of Veto as well. Basically that means that whichever clique wins HoH, everybody in that clique is safe for the week. That is a major change to the way the game will be played.

Big Brother has announced that “later” in the season they will all be playing on their own. Will the forced alliances hold when the change comes? Will there be cross-clique alliances? Secret or out in the open? I think this is going to be a very interesting season.

If you've been keeping up with me you know that four former players went in the house Sunday night to compete for the HoH. One to each clique.

Its not clear whether everybody was involved in the competition or just the four previous players. I think that's what it was. The winner became HoH and won the right to become the 13th houseguest.

I think Brian from season 10 won it. I think he is with the “Athletes” clique. That makes all the jocks safe this week.

I hope you'll join me in watching the live feeds. Its always fun to know what is really happening in the house.

So here they are – with fingers crossed - my initial rankings for Big Brother 11:
