Big Brother: Who Is Going Home This Week?
Spoiler Free Commentary by Mike Shields
August 18, 2008
I know I'm coming in on the middle of this for most of you, however, I have been watching from the beginning of this season, which is why I thought I liked Jerry. Of course, over time, he's become more and more annoying, and his misinterpretation of Dan's actions will lead to quite possibly his eviction this week, unless of course someone believes that he can win two vetoes in a row. I don't know why he believed he could choose who would go up in her place if he vetoed Keesha last time, when he had the opportunity. April states that she didn't have the votes to save Libra, so, she maintained the status quo. Of course, she was never going to get these alleged votes.

With the game coming down to the wire, there are only really three people that could possibly play for the veto that would use it, and two of them are the nominees. The worst case scenario would be Ollie winning the veto, at which point, Renny would have a decision to make, as she has a four person alliance. Where does this leave Michelle?

As a floater.

She did promise not to go back on her word if she wins HoH next week, therefore Renny gets another week in the house. Of course, this presumes that Michelle can win HoH next week. If Jerry does indeed win the veto, Ollie goes up in his place, and then April goes home. She might go home anyway, simply because the 'alliance' of Renny, Keesha, Dan & Memphis all want her gone.

Currently, there exists one four person alliance, three two person alliances, and two floaters. The four person alliance is actually two two person alliances, attempting to goto the final four. This consists of Renny and Keesha, and Dan and Memphis. The other two person alliance is April and Ollie. With Jerry and Michelle currently floating, although, Jerry believes himself to be in alliance with April and Ollie, which explains his stalking of the couple last time.

Michelle may also believe herself to be in an alliance with April, however, this one makes no sense. April is 100% responsible for Jesse going home, despite evidence to the contrary. Unless I misinterpreted the action during the HoH competition last time, when Michelle stated the following, “If I let you win, do you promise not to put me and Jesse up?” It truly doesn't matter that Jesse was backdoored, and yet, inexplicably, Michelle and April are now best buddies.

So, with either Jerry or April likely gone within 72 hours, the game will take a dramatic turn, however, the four person alliance, The Renegades, should control the rest of the game. Although, Dan and Memphis don't trust Renny and Keesha enough to share the name of the alliance with them. This could prove fatal come Thursday after the HoH competition. But before that, comes the veto competition. My money is on the nominations staying the same, and April going home on Thursday.

Stay tuned, I know I will.
