Is he trying to be noble and save his lady?
And who would have the better chance of surviving the block?
In the end I don't think any of that matters. Regardless of who stays on the block and regardless of who goes up I think either Rachel or Brendon would be voted out.
They are both big threats to win competitions, but not the game.
One of them is going home.
I do feel a little sorry for them because they will not be able to spend the summer together.
I check in on Shelly talking to Dani. She is saying that even though Brendon is saying he will save Rachel, he really wants to stay.
She asks Dani what she is gong to do? She doesn't get a straight answer and tells Dani that she hopes she will not be put up.
When she leaves Dani tells her shadow, Kalia, that Shelly “is sketchy”.

Dani is thinking about the votes. She has deal with Jeff. She might put up Shelly because she doesn't think anybody would vote to evict Shelly right now.
Meanwhile Rachel is telling Brendon “You showed me something today” and he is telling her to “be strong”.
Rachel tells him “Jeff is not our friend” and that she thinks Dani will nominate him as the replacement.
She also tells him she does not know what she will do if he leaves.
Well I know. She will cry, complain, whine, freak out and alienate everybody even more. Then she'll follow him out the door as soon as the house can arrange it.
Brendon the deluded tells her it might not be a bad thing if he saves himself. Anybody up against her would probably go home.
This is the exact opposite.....
