Big Brother: The Game Belongs to the Producers! Here's The Rankings Rankings and Commentary by Jesse Caylor September 1, 2011
Watch it happen, live!
I want to start off this week by applauding the producers of Big Brother for some impressive manipulation of the game that has resulted in some interesting television.
What impresses me so much about the way they managed to ensure that Rachel and Jordan be safe this week, without actually controlling the game, is the finesse with which it was done.
Sure, some may disagree with me and say that they tampered with the game itself, but look at it this way:
Porsche could have left Pandora’s Box closed.
Obviously, they counted on her opening it to satisfy her curiosity, but they didn’t make her.
I doubt highly that the re-pairing plan was anything other than concocted as a last minute attempt to save the Veterans and the game from players who did nothing until day 55.
I’m sure they had it up their sleeve the whole time, however, just in case.
Furthermore, just because they were both safe if one of them won the PoV didn’t ensure that they would.
Rachel’s win ended a pretty lengthy drought of competition victories.
So yes. I think this is exactly what the producers wanted to happen.
Jordan and Rachel live to fight another day and the woman who took out America’s Golden boy will be joining him in the Jury House on Thursday.
However, at least it isn’t going to be the result of a bias poll of the public.
It was caused by the actions of the players in the house.
Be ready for the twists, guys, if you want to play the game.
Although I don’t see it happening, I will start by listing the rankings of the players should the less likely outcome of Shelly staying transpire on Thursday.
I will then do a more in-depth analysis of what the game will look like if Shelly does go home.
1. Kalia
2. Jordan
3. Porsche
4. Shelly
5. Rachel
6. Adam
Now it’s time to look at the more likely scenario.
However, from this point on it depends completely on who wins power.
