Big Brother 14: The Hot And Very Shrewd Mess That Is Danielle Commentary by RTVC Senior Staff Writer Cindy Rutolo Dietrich September 9, 2012
Dysfunctional but
playing them all.
I wish I could shout out a warning, and that Big Brother's young Ian could actually receive it.
I want Ian Terry to know that he should not, must not, cannot continue to trust former Quack Packers, Danielle Murphree and, Dan Gheesling.
The kid is off the charts smart. He has such a good heart. I wish he would just catch on.
Of course he’s also honest, and very young. Still, I wish he’d catch a clue. Because continuing down this path with Dan will surely lead to disillusionment, and possibly ruin.
Then again, that’s already happened to him in this game. He’s already been disappointed and let down by other players. So, I know that he could handle the truth about Dan, if he’d only catch on.
Got thoughts? Post them at the end.
I’m starting to think that Shane’s a lot like Ian. He doesn’t have the smarts. And he may look more like a man than Ian, but he acts like an adolescent boy.
The guy walks around, and sleeps with a stuffed animal toy. Not that I have a problem with that. Seriously, I’m fond of them myself.
I’m just saying that there’s a naivety, and weird, hands off innocence about him, that makes him seem younger than he probably is.
It also may make him the perfect mark for a sexually frustrated card shark.
The only person Ian could and probably should trust at this point is, Shane Meaney. Same goes for Shane. He could trust, Ian.
The problem is that they still have no idea that they’re the only two members of Ian’s beloved Quack Pack, still interested in remaining loyal to their alliance.
If it would have been up to Dan and Danielle, Shane’s stay would have ended this week. Shane does not know that. Neither does Ian.
They rested and fretted, and live feeds watchers waited all day to get the PoV results. What would happen? Who would pull off this crucial PoV win?
Jenn Arroyo needed it, but Shane Meaney needed it more. Of course he was worried. But he hadn’t been warned. To do so would give it away.
