Big Sister Is Back!
Big Brother 8 is coming and BIG SISTER is on the scene and keeping an eye on what the inmates in the Big Brother 8 house get up to after hours. She'll be peeking through the keyhole and delivering the dirt on the housemates - because some of the best stuff happens when they forget the cameras are still rolling! Plus she'll keep you posted about what's going on with the other "watchers" - some of the stuff that happens on the fan sites is more exciting then what goes on behind the scenes in the house. Whenever there's dirt to dish, rumor to spread, or trouble to stir up, you can count on your Big Sister to bring it to you here.

Bookmark this page because you'll see it all headlined right here. Last year, for Big Brother All Stars we ran over 220 different articles in 71 days. We're not talking somebodies forum posts. We're talking over 220 full length articles and we are going to surpass that this year! Guaranteed! Everyone will be headlined right here on this page. Book mark this page now and make your Big Sister proud. And keep her in Pizza! Pepperoni, Extra Cheese!

Yes Big Sister will be back again this year; joining the RTVC team - an exceptional group of reporters, recappers and commentators. Everyone will be providing insight and predictions to accompany the incredible recaps deftly imparted by the RTVC Staff Writers Jenny Lane and Logan Huffman who will provide you with all the details of the broadcasts "One snarky comment at a time!" Cari C. will keep the hamsters ranked with RTVC's exclusive Big Brother Photo Scoreboard. In addition to Big Sister, master strategist VikingBear will weigh in on the best method to back stab a houseguest. The rest of the RTVC staff will fulfill your hunger for all the juicy details, with daily reports and weekly updates for those with less fanatical interest in the real-time soap opera and eat your own competition.

Because of her sisterly relation to her "Big Brother" it's really important that Big Sister's identity remain covert - we wouldn't want the parental unit getting wind of her snooping and "ground" her. Fortunately around here they can keep a secret much better than most of the major networks!

And don't worry - she'll let you know if a **SPOILER**is coming (wouldn't want to "spoil" the fun for those who still like a surprise now and then!)

Whether this edition of Big Brother contains all new faces, celebrities, or perhaps some former hamsters returning for another chance is not yet official, although rumors abound. But the real star of Big Brother has always been the group dynamic - take that away and your left with ordinary people who lead extraordinary lives for a few brief weeks during one summer. By resorting to "casting agents" in the past, the producers scared away many potential victims -I mean "houseguests" from the "real" world who may be intimidated by the hand-picked "bodies" that come with such impressive credentials (keep in mind that BIG SISTER is the queen of sarcasm and reads everything with a little healthy skepticism). In addition, Big Brother is undoubtedly the most ruthless series when it comes to trying to maintain any kind of dignity - and BIG SISTER plans to insure that it stays this way!

Whatever comes to light before the show premieres we suspect that producer Allison Grodner will have something to say that will be eerily similar to what she has said in the past....

"Coming up with the best HouseGuests and the most surprising twists are the most challenging-yet-rewarding parts of producing BIG BROTHER. This summer we look forward to delivering a terrific cast and surprising new twists"

BIG SISTER suspects Ms. Grodner may have a hand in writing Julie Chen's less-than-original banter. What we really want to see added this season is a 24/7 feed from the jury sequester quarters - that's where all the real action takes place as the numbers thin out back in the Big Brother House.

Time for this gal to do some more sleuthing but before I do here is some shameless self-promotion. Once again you can sign up for the 24/7 live feeds through RTVC. In fact you can sign up for them right now and get a two week free trial plus a bunch of extra goodies.

Here's What CBS Is Saying:
CBS has picked up the reality series BIG BROTHER, hosted by Julie Chen, for an eighth installment to be broadcast this summer.

Last season's BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS started with 20 All-Star Houseguests and after 71 days and 1,704 hours, Mike "Boogie" Malin, a 35-year-old restaurateur originally from Concord, N.H., was crowned the winner of BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS and claimed the $500,000 prize.

BIG BROTHER 8 will follow the relationships and conflicts of players who live together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. One by one, the Houseguests will vote each other out of the house. At the end of three months, the last remaining Houseguest will receive the grand prize of $500,000.

BIG BROTHER premiered in July 2000 and has been a key component of CBS' summer programming ever since.

BIG BROTHER 8 will be executive produced by Emmy Award winner Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan, in association with Endemol U.S.A. Academy Award and Emmy Award winner Arnold Shapiro will serve as an executive consultant on the series.
