Big Brother: Hamster Feeding Frenzy - Eat The Injured!
Commentary by Big Sister

Warning: Spoiler Material Below
Amber is not done; she is yelling now, "You're so heartless. And to Jameka? If it wasn't for her, you'd be gone three weeks ago. You eat in front of her. You say those things to her? She's upset because she's on the block. I thought you'd learn how to have a heart. You're nothing but a goddamn bitch."

Everybody goes inside except Jessica who is left alone with Jen. Jen tells her "It's not like I'm trying to be rude. I know you guys care about all this." Jess tells her "It changes the show. When Dick was going home he stayed on slop. She says that's why you're in this position because you treat the game this way."

So if I understand the logic it is okay spit all over the house and yard, you can pour things on someone's head, you can be emotionally abusive, you can blow smoke in people's face, you beat pans over someone's head, you can disrespect someone's religious beliefs, you can throw people's stuff away, and all with no penalty at all. But don't you dare eat a turkey burger!

I'm not saying Jen should not get a penalty for eating. I'm saying eating is a lot less damaging to the game than things that have gone on in the house since the game began. Big Brother is controlling the game with this. Because they want Dick and Daniele there at the end.

And then the best irony of the season takes place in the backyard. Eric is going off on Jen again saying "He loves the show and the fact that she is shitting all over the experience is not cool." Eric, who by agreeing to the worst twist in the history or Reality TV, is calling her out on ruining the game? I understand that once Eric was told about the twist by the producers he had only two choices; play that way or go home. If he really loved the game he would have gone home. But like all hamsters, it's not about the game it's about winning the game.

Everybody but Dick and Daniele are now outside and chewing on Jen's carcass. In the kitchen Daniele tells Dick "I may get in trouble for saying this but I heard they're doing a good job of portraying people how they really are." And of course the feeds cut so they can tell Daniele not to talk about that. Who ever told her that, hasn't been watching the feeds.

Outside Jessica is trying to say something to Jen and Eric keeps interrupting to he can yell at Jen some more. This pisses Jessica off and she goes inside. Of course as soon as she leave grade school puppy dog Eric tucks his tail between his legs and follows her.

Amber is now asking Jen about why she won't go to sequester. Jen tells her "I have a lot to do with my life. I don't have time to do that." She made the commitment when she signed on. She's been enjoying the game but she doesn't want to be bored sitting in sequester. Too bad. Amber makes the good point that someone who really wanted to be here and play it through could have been here instead of Jen.

Eric and Jessica are in the bathroom and he is apologizing to her for not letting her speak. She tells him she just wanted to discuss it with Jen. She makes the excellent point that "It's not our job to put her in her place. The producers did that. We should just have civilized conversation. Why not just talk to her and explain our point of view." Eric apologizes and rationalizes that he was "trying to defend Amber, a single Mom." That's just bullshit. Jessica is really upset with the way people are treating Jen. She thinks what Jen did was wrong but that this is wrong as well. She says "I wouldn't want to be treated that way." And I'm thinking that was a warning the Eric didn't notice.

It goes on a while longer with nothing being resolved. Nothing can be. It's all too screwed up.

Later Amber and Jen are talking.....

Because of her sisterly relation to her "Big Brother" it's really important that Big Sister's identity remain covert - we wouldn't want the parental unit getting wind of her snooping and "ground" her. Fortunately around here they can keep a secret much better than most of the major networks!
