Big Brother: ED & Daniele Use Race Baiting for PoV Commentary by Cindy Rutolo Dietrich September 9, 2007
It's been a stressful week. But now it really stinks. It's getting
uglier by the minute. Daniele won the PoV. But it's why and how that counts. I don't even
know where to begin.
How about with...
The panic.
The fear.
The manipulation.
The tears.
The bravado.
The lies.
The despair.
The prayers.
The exuberance of a daughter hugging her dad.
Him, swinging her joyously right off of the ground. The heartbreaking
three way hug that Jess, Eric and Jameka had, on Jessica's way out of
the door.
Or, how about here, with Race Baiting.
According to Wikipedia, the term 'race baiting' includes" "the use of
any language or actions for the purpose of exploiting actual or
perceived weaknesses in persons who can be identified as members of
certain groups, or to reinforce a group's perceived victimhood, in order
to do them some sort of harm, or to manipulate their behavior, can be
contained within the concept of "race baiting."
"See also: hate speech, fighting words, race card."
See, Evel, as we speak, is still relishing this feat. He's storming
victoriously through the Big Brother house screaming about Daniele's
victory and his lies about Zach.
I knew he was planning to tell Jameka that Zach's a racist. I just was
hoping that he wouldn't. That he wouldn't sink that low.
But he did.
Yes, Daniele and ED's latest evil plan did indeed include race baiting.
They discussed falsely accusing Zach of being a racist. ED mentioned
telling Jameka some things right before the PoV. Like that Zach used the
term 'that's mighty white of you.' I've always thought that the person
using that term was not a racist. That it meant the other person, to
whom it was said, was being elitist, or condescending.
He also discussed telling Zach to stop using the N-word. Not that he
ever had, or would. Just to mess with their heads.
But now he's screaming at Zach. Telling him the world now knows he's a
racist.
ED sadly believes his own lies.
And don't think for one minute that the fact that this was race baiting
was lost on ED. He said he just doesn't care. He planned this very
carefully. He said they're at the end of the game. He thinks
everything's fair.
But why stop there?
Daniele said to also call Zach a pervert and a 'panty muncher' and
"anything, and everything to ruin his job and his reputation." Then they
laughed cruelly, about all the disgusting things they wish, and hope
will befall anyone who dares cross them at all.
Yes, they have sunk that low.
