Big Brother: ED's Attacks Are Encouraged By CBS Commentary by Cindy Rutolo Dietrich September 13, 2007
ED to Zach: "You are a piece of fucking shit and I'm telling all of
America exactly what was said. So get ready, Mother Fucker. I'm not
pulling any punches. You're gonna cry. Your Mother's gonna cry when she
hears this."
Zach: "I'm not worried about you."
ED: "You're a piece of fucking shit. You're worthless, You're a bag of
shit. You're a fucking douche bag. Go suck somebody else's dick."
Zach: "Yup. Pretty funny."
ED: "Yeah, howdy doody. Do the teeth. Perfect."
ED likes to criticize his teeth. This is a backhanded slap against Zach's Father. He's a
dentist. "You're a real integrity man. "
Zach: "I sure am."

ED continued this before the live show. But it got much worse, and
continued for more than an hour after the show during the first HoH
competition.
I only pray that Nick is watching the live feeds, or Showtime coverage,
before he makes his final decision to move to LA. Because they
completely strip out any trace of reality on the network show. They only
present a fraction of the picture. The ED and Daniele that they show on
TV are framed the way they want. It's their picture.
Just don't call it Reality TV.
It's a pretty sad commentary on the show, and on the quality of people
making the decisions about what to show on the show.
I seriously wonder, CBS, where your priorities lie. You strip out any
semblance of reality on the network's hourly show. You cut out any trace
of ED's race baiting taunts.
Maybe there is no truth in Reality TV.
Maybe it's all just a bunch of lies. I don't know. I just know that I
was upset by what I heard. But I was more furious when the truth
wasn't told.
For instance, they also don't mention or show network viewers, how ED
planned and actually practices his hate filled verbal assaults.
They don't get to hear ED scream and yell obscenities and lies, They
don't get to hear Daniele's cold, cruel, biting comments about virtually
everyone from this season and seasons past.
Most of what they show is a packaged fabrication. It's molded and
created. It's their invention. But it hardly shows the truth.
So I will tell the truth. CBS lies by omission. CBS has condoned abuse, slander, threats of assault. And the list seems
endless.
We have scenes edited to make ED look like only a good guy. And he does
have his moments. He does love his children. That doesn't make his
tactics alright.
He's also given his own special music. He has his own special rules.
Basically, the Double Ds can do whatever they want to do.
CBS and Big Brother presents a loving portrait of their stars. Evel Dick and
Daniele are this season's winners. Or, you hope that they are. The
storyline is just so cool. An estranged Father and Daughter, coming
together; repairign their relationship. Then, they win to boot. At least
that seems to have been the plan. People only see the ED and Daniele
that you've packaged together. They're the only two that, apparently,
matter. So everything is slanted to make them look good.
When in reality, ED could have been evicted, or at least should have been given
penalties for his threats and boorish behavior. Should have had some
consequences for using the terrorizing tactics that he's used on others,
and then on Zach.
