Big Brother: Jen Doesn't Fit In - Jessica's Back In Episode 22 Recap by Logan Huffman August 24, 2007
Later, Jen walks outside, turkey burger, cottage cheese, and apple in hand. As the others watch, Jen begins to eat, therefore breaking the rules of her slop requirement. Jessica tells Jen not to do it, but Eric and Jameka tell her that it is already too late. Jessica tells Jen to stop while she is ahead, but Jen doesn't see a point. Jessica says that Jen agreed to be on slop for thirty days, and now she has decided to eat. Jessica adds that no one wants to be around a cheater. As Jameka watches, Jen thinks she is jealous. Zach comes out, telling us that Jen drives him crazy, and he has a big problem with people who cheat or break the rules of the game. Eric says that Jen is shoving food into her face, and she probably gained five pounds in thirty minutes. Eric adds that he was dumbfounded watching her. As Jen continues to eat, she is paged to the Diary Room.
She goes into the Diary Room, where 'Big Brother' gives her a penalty vote against her this week for breaking the rules. She goes back outside, and Dick follows her, mocking her and saying that she is winning over the minds and hearts of America, and then calling her an idiot. He begins to smoke another cigarette, and tells her to go cry somewhere else. Dick comes up and blows smoke right into her face, and she tries to swat the cigarette out of his hand. He starts cursing and tells her not to touch him. Jameka, being the "savior" that she is, comes over and tries to break things up. Dick yells for her not to touch him, and she tells him not to smoke in her face. He blows smoke right into her face again, and she tries to grab the cigarette away. Jen gets burned by the cigarette, and he then sticks it towards her to burn her again. She yells that he is burning her on purpose, and continues to try to grab it away. Jen yells that he is fucking burning her on purpose, and he gets up, telling her to fuck off. Things look like they are about to get physical, as he calls Jen a crybaby bitch. Dick keeps yelling that she is a psycho bitch, and just when it seems like actual hitting may occur, Jameka steps in.
Jameka pulls Jen into the house, telling her to go and wash her hand to help the burn. Jen thinks that he is ridiculous, and Jameka tells her to let it go. As Jameka helps Jen search for some burn relief medicine, Jen says that the burn is dried and okay now. Dick yells back inside to torment Jen, and Jameka comes back outside. The producers need to thank Jameka, because if it wasn't for her, I think Dick and Jen would have beaten each other to death.
We now are taken to Amber and Daniele, who were sent on their trip to compete on the new game show 'Power of Ten'. They are very excited as they are blindfolded and taken to a limo, and then to a private plane to be flown to New York City. Amber can't believe the plane, and Daniele says that she only went to New York once when she was little, and Amber says that it looked cool in pictures. The flight attendant gives them wine, and they toast.
Once in New York, the ladies are introduced to Michael Davies, producer of the 'Power of Ten'. He explains the rules to them, adding that they have flown them each one person there who will sit and help them play the game. They have flown in former Houseguest Nick for Daniele, as he tells us that he doesn't think Daniele will have any idea that he is there, but he is excited to see her. Amber's cousin Katie is hoping that Amber makes it, because she really wants to see her. I'm in shock that anyone actually claimed to be related to Amber. Michael reiterates to them that they could leave as millionaires, and no one in TV history has ever won the top prize of $10 million dollars. Well, Amber is as dumb as a brick, so I'm not expecting her to break that trend.
As Daniele has her makeup done, she says that she is nervous, and even though they were able to watch a few episodes, she doesn't want to get up there and lose right away. Amber says that she felt special getting her makeup done and feeling like somebody. Amber says that she has such an upbeat personality, and she knows when she gets out there, the audience will love her. She is delusional.
As they are rushed out towards the stage, Daniele says that she is nervous and it feels very surreal, adding that there is a live audience, which makes it more nerve-wracking, and that this is a once in a lifetime experience just like 'Big Brother'. They are welcomed out to the stage by Drew Carey, and…you'll have to tune in to the 'Power of Ten' next Tuesday before 'Big Brother' to find out what happens.
It's now time to go live to the living room to speak with all of the Houseguests. Julie welcomes Amber and Daniele back to the house, and without giving any secrets away, she asks Amber what the day meant to her. Amber says that it meant a lot to her, as she was able to clear her head and refocus on the game, and it also allowed her to appreciate things in life that she never did. Daniele says that it was a well-needed day to be able to regain some of her sanity.
