The Biggest Loser: Let's Do It 24 Style
Yell At Your TV Commentary and Recap by RTVC Staff Writer Rikki A.

They say she is a jerk.
They're right.
For tonight’s Biggest Loser commentary, I am coming at you 24 - Jack Bauer style.

What does that mean, you ask?

It means for the first time I am watching the episode while typing on my lap top. My thoughts are coming at you in real time. If I think something, I am writing it down and moving quickly on to the next thing.

Is it as exciting as I am trying to make it sound? Not really, but I haven’t been with you so far this season so I am trying to hype my return.

For those who didn’t get my whole 24 - Jack Bauer analogy all I have to say is there is more to life than reality TV. There are fabulous scripted shows out there too; you should give them a try.

Okay, on to The Biggest Loser.

Right off the bat I have to say that last week I had Rick pegged all wrong. To me he seemed much like Julio from a few seasons back. A type of too-cool-for school guy who really didn’t seem that interested in being there or all that serious about changing his life. With him losing over 10% he proved me wrong.

I have another quick comment. I believe the man on the black team is named Frado, but every time the trainers talked to him it sounded like they were saying Alfredo. That sucks for him, he is trying to put unhealthy foods out of his mind, yet his trainers refer to him as a thick creamy pasta sauce. What’s next? Calling Lisa pizza?

Tina to me, at least right now, is a jerk, like everyone is basically saying. She convinced them to keep her over Allie and then wishes she didn’t. How many people would have loved to be in her shoes and something about some vacation is making her want to go?

I don’t know if we’ll learn more about it as the episode progresses, but I loved when Jessica said she’d help her and Lisa pack.

Why would Lisa leave to help Allie? That makes zero sense. I think her and Tina just realized they weren’t cut out for life on the ranch. Bob cracked me up when he said she should stay on the ranch because of all her kids at home. It made her like someone who just keeps popping out babies when really her bio says she only has two.

I need to comment on Tina’s glasses. While some can pull of the horn-rimmed glasses, she can’t and they caused her to look dubious right off that bat. I have generally had soft spots for all the older contestants on the ranch, but she isn’t one I think I’ll care much for.

She is one of those who says they take care of everyone else but themselves, she is just too selfless. Uh, not so grandma, you were selfish enough to send the youngest on the ranch packing, so don’t give us the you-never-think-about-yourself routine.

I’m glad everyone is.....
