Lost 129 pounds!
Biggest Loser Couples -- 2011 edition – will end tonight. It will be live but it will also be a two hour deal so you know they can stuff it full of fluff anyway.
This year, oddly, I don’t care who wins.
Last year I didn’t care who won, only who did not win. This year I don’t even have that. So this year I’m going to have fun with it.
I’m going to channel the snarky and opinionated person who stands with the photographer on the red carpet and renders opinions about the fashion statements of the celebrities.

Like any beauty contest there will be the spandex competition and then, if they follow the pattern from past seasons, there will be the dress-up division where the women are put in cocktail dresses with borrowed diamonds dripping and the men wear tuxedos, or at least duds dressier than workout gear.
And I shall declare each outfit a hit or a miss.
I actually just typed “mess” so maybe that’s what I really mean.
The dress-up session has nothing to do with our contestants, of course. I’m just judging the outfit and I’m pretty sure that these folks didn’t dress themselves for the occasion.
The spandex section will be judged on the three “H’s” – healthy, happy and hot. Hey, it’s my contest; it’s my rules.
All the numbers and percentages will be posted elsewhere and by others. So while I’m looking to see who got close to 50%, the number is less important than those H’s.
And before you beat me up, you know yourself that if you look in the mirror and say “I look hot” it will make you happy and if you are happy you are more likely to stay on the track to healthy.
This is the diametric opposite to how many of these people got heavy.
If you look in the mirror and say “I look like crap” you will not be happy and you will really not give a darn about doing something about it. I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again now.
So I’m judging on healthy looking, happy looking, and an age appropriate level of hot.
And right out of the gate.....
