The Biggest Loser: Do You Really Think The Vote Will Be Obvious? Here's The Rankings
Rankings and Commentary by RTVC Senior Staff Writer Donna Emery

This week on the Biggest Loser, I found myself unable to decide who to vote for.
The decision between Jay and Irene would seem pretty straightforward, to the casual observer.
But, in my opinion, there hasn’t been a tougher choice for the third finalist; since Mike and Ron Morelli were vying for our votes.
As much as I love Irene – and think she deserves to be honored as a finalist – I can’t help but wonder if she might be better off competing for the at-home prize.
This final four seems unique. Each of them has lost over 100 pounds. Heck: Jay’s lost over 150 pounds. All of them look wonderful.
Though none of them is at their goal weight, they all look slimmer and healthier. None of them could truly be called obese (unless they were fashion models).
So, all of them have one thing in common: they don’t have much more to lose.
In order to get to the “magic 50%” (the percentage which many winners have achieved), they need to lose the following amounts of weight:
That’s a pretty even “playing field” – at least, for the girls.
And, whether or not you like the Purple sisters, they’ve worked hard and put in the hours and effort to get where they are. Any of the three girls could win the title.
But, will they?
It all depends on the audience vote.
Despite Jay’s promise to Bob; that he’ll write the number “180” on his arm, for the finale, I don’t know if he can realistically expect to lose 60 pounds before the finale.
In seasons past, the contestants go home for three months; before the finale.
To lose 60 pounds in that period of time is a big job – and although Jay is a hard worker, his efforts thus far have been inconsistent, so I’m not sure if he can pull it off.
Irene can win. She would have won; if the finale had been held at the end of the last episode, since she still leads the rankings as the Biggest Loser on campus.
If she continues the same rate of weight loss, she could squeak by either of the sisters, and take the prize – IF she’s voted as the third finalist.
But she may NOT win. Either of the sisters is close enough to Irene to overtake her, in the rankings. It’s just too close to call.
