The Biggest Loser Recap And Commentary: Who’s the REAL Biggest Loser?

We’re not buying it, Bob.
As for Jeremy, he may have outworked his sister and achieved the biggest number of pounds lost this season, but in many other seasons his inconsistent weight losses would NOT have taken him this far.
He did work hard; at least, after the first few weeks, but in my opinion, he couldn’t shine the shoes of most previous finalists (Heba and Vicky included.)
As for Kim, my hopes are pinned on her – because she got where she is (solidly in the lead) even when her former alliance with Conda had inexplicably shattered.
She didn’t show us her kinder, gentler side until about halfway through the season. Once she did, my opinion of her softened, somewhat.
She made the kind of inner transformation this show can often cause. Of the three, I’m rooting for her.
But can she win? It’s possible.
In past seasons, a 50% loss is a good benchmark for the finalists’ achievement.
In order to get to that level, Kim has to lose 22 pounds; she’d weigh 126 at the finale.
It’s a very low weight, and she’s a muscular gal. Can she do it? Maybe. Will she? We’ll have to wait and see.
For Conda to get to 50%, she’ll have to lose another 58 pounds. That’s more than half of what she lost in 17 weeks – and it would take her to 147.
That doesn’t seem likely, but nothing’s impossible.
I guess Jeremy has the best chance. He has to lose 54 pounds and weigh 195. It’s not impossible. He’s motivated, and guys always lose weight more quickly than gals. I think he might do it.
Is it evil for me to hope he doesn’t?
This episode featured the eliminated contestants. They participated in a four-part contest to gain the third finalists’ spot.
The first part was the weight loss competition. The top 8 “losers” went on to the next part of the contest. They were: Chris, Mike, Lauren, Emily, Cassandra, Jeremy, Kimmy and Megan.
Mike actually lost 114 pounds, while Ben lost 96 and Chism lost 96. Emily led the eliminated girls with an 89-pound loss.
After the weigh in, there was a foot race to pare the field down to five.
Chris was not medically cleared, so she was automatically out.
