The Biggest Loser: Dr. Jillian The Shrink Is Getting Old

Dr. Phillian I presume?
There was so much wrong with last night’s episode I don’t know where to begin. I can’t decide whether to start with Jillian, the ill fitting baseball uniforms, or the contestants.
I think I’ll start with Jillian. Seriously, what the hell is her problem? She asked Abby last night how it felt to lose everyone she loved? Are you kidding me? What was Abby going to say? It felt great Jill, thanks for asking. I would do the same thing all over again if given the chance.
Of course the waterworks ensued, as Jillian asked Abby dumb questions about her horrifying experience. She hasn’t talked about it enough? No. Dr. Phillian needs to try to dissect her feelings so Abby can cope with them in the real world.
I would like to know what training Jillian has to make these decisions, to decide what they need emotionally. Uh, Jill, I think you’re job is to help them get skinny.
Bringing Abby to tears wasn’t enough as then Jillian talked to Shay about being the child of a heroin addict. Then she proceeded to have a Robin Williams/Matt Damon Good Will Hunting moment where she kept repeating “It’s not your fault”. It was awkward, to say the least, and sad to see the joy Jillian gets from messing with these fragile people.
She messed with Amanda, or as I’ve been calling her all season – the chubby Leann Rimes. Amanda doesn’t have thick enough skin and walked out of the gym. Why do all these contestants tell Jillian they’re scared to be anything but failures, that’s just stupid.
Some of these contestants are a bitfull of themselves this season, as Amanda is the second one to declare she has a pretty face. She does, but for someone who is so scared of being anything but a failure, she sure doesn’t mind talking herself up. She referred to herself as the smallest, the fittest and that she has a pretty face.
I don’t think self esteem is going to be an issue for her. She just needs to stop being a baby.
Man, Liz’s gloves are off. She is a spit fire. I like her, and I love that she beat Daniel. I think Daniel has a kind heart but how long is his team going to keep him around for? I agree with Danny’s vote to send him packing, and I wish everyone would have followed suit.
Speaking of Daniel, I like him more and more every week, but how many times can someone refer to themselves as a champion? This group doesn’t mind giving themselves positive affirmations, that’s for sure.
I wish I would have kept track because I swear he said champion about fifty times. I hate to break it to you Daniel, but you still have about 175 pounds to lose before you should really start throwing that word around in reference to yourself.
He should be proud of what he has accomplished so far, I don’t mean to sound so snarky, but seeing him shirtless on the scale makes it hard to brand him a champion yet.
Plus, how many Uncle Rico moments can this guy have? He is just like him. In Napoleon Dynamite Uncle Rico is stuck in his high school football glory days, he is a caricature of guys like Danny who still are. Danny was even talking about his state championship ring. Move on brother. I guarantee that ring ain’t fitting you now.
Did anyone else think the baseball.....
